ALÉM DA MORTE
BEYOND DEATH
Cumprida mais uma jornada na terra,
seguem os espíritos para a pátria
espiritual, conduzindo a bagagem
dos feitos acumulados em suas
existências físicas.
One more journey accomplished on earth and
spirits proceed to the spiritual
homeland carrying the baggage
of achievements accumulated
during their physical existences.
Aportam no plano espiritual,
nem anjos, nem demônios.
São homens, almas em aprendizagem
despojadas da carne.
São os mesmos homens que
eram antes da morte.
They arrive in the spiritual plane,
neither angels, nor demons.
They are humans, souls in apprenticeship
stripped of flesh.
They are the same humans they were
before death.
A desencarnação não lhes
modifica hábitos, nem costumes.
Não lhes outorga títulos,
nem conquistas.
Não lhes retira méritos,
nem realizações.
Death does not change their habits
or their attitudes.
It does not grant them
titles or achievements.
It does not take away the merits
or accomplishments.
Cada um se apresenta após a morte
como sempre viveu.
Não ocorre nenhum milagre de
transformação para aqueles
que atingem o grande porto.
Raros são aqueles que
despertam com a consciência livre,
após a inevitável travessia.
Each one presents itself after death
as one has always lived.
No transformation miracle happens
to those who reach the large harbour.
Rare are those who after the
inevitable passage awake with
a free conscience.
A grande maioria, vinculada de forma
intensa às sensações da matéria,
demora-se, infeliz, ignorando a nova
realidade. Muitos agem como turistas
confusos em visita à grande cidade,
buscando incessantemente endereços
que não conseguem localizar.
The large majority, intensely bound to the
sensations of matter, dwels, unhappy,
ignoring their new reality. Many behave
like confused tourists when visiting
a
large city,
incessantly searching for
addresses that they can not find.
Sentem a alma visitada por aflições e
remorsos, receios e ansiedades.
Se refletissem um pouco perceberiam
que a vida prossegue
sem grandes
Modificações.
They feel the soul visited by afflictions
and regrets, fears and anxieties.
If they reflected a bit they
would realize that life
goes on without
major alterations.
Os escravos do prazer prosseguem inquietos.
Os servos do ódio demoram-se em aflição.
Os companheiros da ilusão
permanecem enganados.
Os aficionados da mentira dementam-se
sob imagens desordenadas.
Os amigos da ignorância continuam perturbados.
The pleasure slaves continue to be restless.
The hate servants dwell in affliction.
The illusion partners
continue to be fooled.
The lies lovers drive themselves to madness
under confused images.
The ignorance friends continue to be disturbed.
Além disso, a maior parte dos seres
não é capaz de perceber o apoio
dispensado pelos espíritos superiores.
Sim, porque mesmo os seres mais
infelizes e voltados ao mal não são
esquecidos ou abandonados pelo
auxílio divino.
Furthermore, a vast part of the beings
are not capable of noticing the aid
given to them by the superior spirits.
Yes, for even the most unhappy
and turned to evil beings are not
forgotten or abandoned by
the divine aid.
Em toda parte e sem cessar, amigos espirituais
amparam todos os seus
irmãos, refletindo a paternal
providência divina.
Morrer, longe de ser o descansar nas
mansões celestes ou o expurgar sem
remissão nas zonas infelizes, é,
pura e simplesmente, recomeçar a viver.
Everywhere and without ceasing, spiritual friends
support all their fellow beings,
reflecting the divine paternal providence.
To die, far from being the resting on celestial
mansions or to expurgate without remission in the
unhappy regions, is purely
and simply to recommence to live.
A morte a todos aguarda.
Preparar-se para tal acontecimento é tarefa
inadiável.
Apenas as almas esclarecidas e experimentadas
na batalha redentora serão
capazes de transpor a barreira do túmulo
e caminhar em liberdade.
Death awaits us all.
To prepare oneself for such event is an urgent task.
Only the souls enlightened and experienced
in the redemptive battle, will be able to
cross the grave barrier and
walk in freedom.
A reencarnação é uma bendita
oportunidade de evolução.
A matéria em que nos encontramos imersos,
por ora, é abençoado campo
de luta e de aprimoramento pessoal.
Cada dia de que dispomos na carne é
nova chance de recomeço.
Reeincarnation is a blessed opportunity
for evolution.
The matter where we find ourselves immersed,
at the moment, is a blessed battle field
for personal improvement.
Each day that we have in the flesh is
a new chance to recommence.
Tal benefício deve ser aproveitado para
aquisição dos verdadeiros valores
que resistem à própria morte.
Na contabilidade divina a soma de ações
nobres anula a coletânea
equivalente de atos indignos.
Such benefit must be well used for
the acquisition of true values
that resist one’s own death.
In the divine accountacy, the sum of noble
actions anulls the equal collection
of unworthy acts.
Todo amor dedicado ao próximo,
em serviço educativo
à humanidade, é degrau de ascensão.
All love devoted to the next fellow
being, in educational service
to humanity,
is a step towards ascension.
Quando o véu da morte fechar os
nossos olhos nesta existência,
continuaremos vivendo, em outro plano
e em condições diversas.
Estaremos, no entanto, imbuídos
dos mesmos defeitos e das mesmas
qualidades que nos movimentavam
antes do transe da morte.
When the death veil close our eyes
in this existence,
we will continue to live in another plane
and in diverse conditions.
We will, however, be imbued
with the same flaws and the same
qualities that moved us
before the death trance.
A adaptação a essa nova realidade
dependerá da forma como nos tivermos
preparado para ela. Semeamos a partir de
hoje a colheita de venturas,
ou de desdita, do amanhã.
The adaptation to this new reality
will depend on the way we have
prepared ourselves for it. We sow
today the harvest of happiness
or infelicity of tomorrow.
