FOREX - Dollar keeps healthy tone on stocks,
rate cut talk
LONDON, Aug 7 (Reuters) - The dollar held its ground near
recent six-week peaks against the euro and the yen on
Wednesday, cushioned by increasing expectations of an
asset-boosting U.S. rate cut and by talk of U.S. funds
bringing money home.
Such a move would boost the U.S. economy and U.S.
stocks, and therefore the dollar, analysts said.
