IAESTE Day - Brazil 21 October 2011 IAESTE Day - Brazil • This year, IAESTE Brazil decided to do something different to celebrate IAESTE Day. We organized activities in 12 different cities, and in each of those cities our students, foreign and Brazilian, visited and made donations to institutions that are responsible for children in need, abandoned children and/or children that were taken from their homes to be kept away from abusive parents. IAESTE Day - Brazil • The cities where the activity happened were: São Paulo, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Bauru, Florianópolis, São Carlos, Viçosa, Ouro Preto, Campinas, Rio Claro, Lorena and Salvador. • The communities from those cities also helped with donations, specially students from local universities. • Approximately 300 people were involved!
