O Fórum Social Mundial foi criado para facilitar o diálogo entre os povos e gerar ações
práticas para melhoria do planeta.
Isso depende de cada um de nós. Especialmente agora: o FSM está ameaçado por um
déficit de R$ 3 milhões de sua última edição, devido a doações prometidas mas não
concretizadas.
Colabore. Doe qualquer valor. O déficit é grande, mas muito inferior ao poder de
organização de quem deseja um mundo melhor. Juntos faremos com que a última

2006.
Bamako
Is the capital of Mali and it is located on the East region of Africa. It has an area of
809.552 km2 and a population of around 1 million and 500 people. It is the country’s
administrative and commercial center. Read here further information about the

Registration of organizations and individual participants
Registration of organizations and its delegates are already open. Registration forms
are at the website: : http://www.forosocialmundial.org.ve/Delegados.html. Individual
participants, which means, people who are not linked to any organization, can also
register
by
clicking
on
the
link:
http://www.forosocialmundial.org.ve/Participantes/Participantes.php. The forms are
available only in Spanish. The Caracas event’s organizing committee has not yet
published how much registration fees will cost nor payment option. Please, wait.
Press
Press registration forms for covering the WSF 2006 Caracas are available on the link
http://www.forosocialmundial.org.ve/Medios/Formulario_medios.php . The deadline
for on-line registration is on January 10th, 2006. Below, your will find criteria for
registration.
1. No ato do credenciamento em Caracas, os comunicadores inscritos deverão
apresentar, obrigatoriamente, a credencial de seu veículo de comunicação ou o
documento profissional de jornalista.
2. Comunicadores que representam ONGs e movimentos sociais no FSM, que estejam
fazendo cobertura de algum veículo de comunicação de sua organização, deverão
apresentar um exemplar do produto/material jornalístico, além da credencial de sua
entidade.
3. Estudantes de jornalismo que estejam fazendo cobertura para algum veículo de
comunicação de sua faculdade também deverão apresentar, além de sua carteira de
estudante, um exemplar de seu veículo. Poderão se inscrever, no máximo, 10
estudantes por veículo.
4. O credenciamento dará aos profissionais acesso livre às estruturas de apoio à
imprensa e às coletivas.

Registration for the ones who wish to work as volunteer at the Caracas event is open
and the options are: methodology and content; organization and logistics; culture;
communication; expansion and youth camp. In order to register, you only need to

Caracas is the capital of Venezuela and it is also its largest city. It is the
country’s economic and cultural center. It has 1.930 km² and a population of 4 million

4. Polycentric WSF 2006 Karachi (Pakistan)
Deadline for registering activities for the polycentric WSf 2006 Karachi (Pakistan)
is on January 31st, 2006. Registration of activities must be done at the website

Registration of organizations and individuals are open. The deadline is the same

activities.

The Karachi Organizing Committee has published its registration fees, but has not
published payment options. See below:

Registration of activities for the 4th European Social Forum are open
Registration of activities for the 4th European Social are already open and can be done
at the website http://workspace.fse-esf.org. The deadline is in February 2006. But
attention: most part of the proposals shall be analyzed during the next ESF preparatory
Assembly, which will take place on January 7 th and 8th, 2006.
The ESF’s fourth edition will take place in Athens (Greece), from April 6th to
