4mm Allen wrench, for plunger
adjustment.
1 - Disconnect the engine terminal in the starter motor;
2 - Energize the Starter Relay terminal of the Starter Relay
for plunger engage and pinion advance;
3 - Make the pinion adjustment to get the right gap,
accordingto the picture.
Chave Allen 4mm, para
auxiliar na regulagem do
êmbolo.
1- Desconectar a barra de ligação do motor com o motor
de partida;
2- Energizar o Relé de Partida e atracar o seu êmbolo para
evitar que o mesmo rode e danifique a sua capa de borracha;
3- Fazer a regulagem do afastamento na posição de atracado,
conforme demostrado na imagem.
Gap (when engaged):
37MT - 1mm;
41MT - 5mm;
42MT - 9mm.
Afastamento (quando atracado):
37MT - 1mm;
41MT - 5mm;
42MT - 9mm.
* The cover seal ring must be always used to prevent water entry and ensure the correct positioning of the cover.
Without the seal ring, when screwed too, the cover may collide with the axis tip of the Starter Relay plunger.
* O anel de vedação da tampa deve ser sempre utilizado para evitar a entrada de água e garantir o correto
posicionamento da tampa. Na falta do anel de vedação, quando enroscada demais, a tampa poderá colidir com
a ponta do eixo do êmbolo do Relé de Partida.
