Soares da Costa Group informs on Work in the United States
Grupo Soares da Costa, SGPS, SA informs that, according to the Florida Department of Transportation,
its subsidiary Prince presented the most competitive bid for the “T5469 SR50 Dean to Avalon” work, in
Orange County, Florida (in the Orlando area).
The work, totalling 68 million USD (49 million Euros) consists in the reconstruction and widening of the
SR50 road in Orange County, from a four-lane country road to a six-lane urban road with central splitter,
between Dean Road and east of Avalon Park Boulevard. The contract includes the construction of
ditches, flexible pavement, storm drainage waters with replacement of box culverts, horizontal
signalling and markings.
