How can I track my progress?
• At the British Council, you are not learning English on your own.
Our professional teachers help monitor your progress throughout
the course, using a number of assessment tasks
• Every 10th lesson the teacher will formally assess your progress
through a speaking task in class and upload your grades
to the website for you to log-on and check
• On-line booking system allows you to see your general
score and how many lessons you’ve done so far.
Course Structure
The course is designed exclusively for the British Council’s students.
myClass follows a non-linear structure with complete freedom to
choose which lesson you study and in which order.
Each level comprises 120 hours face-to-face teaching. Each lesson
is 2 hours, so to complete one level you must complete at least
60 lessons. The more you attend, the more you progress.
To determine your starting level you need to arrange a consultation
with us where you will do a written placement test and have
a face-to-face interview with one of our teachers.

• We employ UK-qualified teachers who have a first degree, hold a Ca
bridge Certificate in Teaching English as a foreign language
(or equivalent), and have more than 2,000 hours of teaching experience.

who understand your individual needs.
• We use fun, friendly and effective approaches with a focus on how
to use the English that you learn for real-life purposes.
• We provide lots of opportunities to improve speaking and
communication with other students in class.

• We pay attention to all aspects of pronunciation.
• We offer a range of extra events in a myClub program available only
