WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
These are Programs of cooperation and
mobility in the Undergraduate (PEC-G) and
Postgraduate (PEC-PG) levels offered to
students from developing countries which
have signed cultural, educational or
scientific and technological agreements
with Brazil.
HOW MANY STUDENTS CAN
APPLY?
Every student who complies with the
requirements can apply. There are no
quotas per country.

WHEN AND WHERE TO APPLY?
Yearly, from April to June (for the
PEC-G) and May to July (for the PECPG).
Applications have to be sent to the
Brazilian Diplomatic Representative in your
country.
HOW TO APPLY?
Applicants must submit their application
forms duly completed and signed,
together with all other documents
eventually required, to the Embassy of
Brazil in Pretoria:
- Has obtained the CELPE-Bras
Certificate (*)
- Is NOT a Brazilian citizen and
was not born to Brazilian parents
WHICH ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
FOR THE PEC-G:
- Be between the ages of 18 and
23 years old;
- Have completed High school in
any other country than Brazil;
You will:
- receive a high quality education
at some of Brazilian’s finest
universities;
- choose from a wide range of
academic disciplines;
- enhance your cross-cultural
background;
- establish worldwide personal
and professional relationships;
- prepare yourself to contribute
to the development of your
