Regulation of the Campaign

Terms and Conditions
1. Duration
This campaign will take place between the 2
nd
th
of April and the 30 of June 2012.
2. Eligibility
Banco Best customers who are private customers, residents and over 18, who comply with this Regulation and
the following eligibility criteria, are considered eligible for this campaign:
a)
New private customers who, cumulatively:
•
Open a new account with Banco Best, and give effect to the domiciliation of their salary/pension as per
instruction of their employer (codified as salary - code "08"), with a net worth more than or equal to
€1,000, within the duration of the campaign;
•
Apply to join the campaign and accept these regulations throughout the duration of the campaign;
•
None of the account holders have benefited or been part of accounts that have benefited from other
promotions for new customers.
They will be considered new customers provided that none of the holders of the new account are part of or
have been part of other accounts at Banco Best before the date of the beginning of the campaign. Only one
offer will be awarded per account, regardless of the number of holders and/or salaries domiciled in it.
b)
Current private customers who, cumulatively:
•
Do not have any automatic salary/pension domiciliation at the date of the beginning of the campaign or
in the 3 months prior to it, on any account - a condition valid for all account holders;
•
Do not hold a Salary account at Banco Best at the date of the beginning of the campaign;
•
Give effect to the domiciliation of their salary/pension as per instruction of their employer (codified as
salary - code "08"), with a net worth of more than or equal to €1,000, within the duration of the
campaign;
•
Apply to join the campaign and accept these regulations throughout the duration of the campaign;
•
Are not part of accounts that have benefited from the campaign "Conta Ordenado: ganhe + todos os
meses” and “Organize as suas finanças, poupe nas contas”.

Existing customers will be considered as such provided that at least one account holder participates or has
participated in other accounts at Banco Best before the date of the beginning of the campaign. Only one offer
will be awarded per account, regardless of the number of holders and/or salary domiciled in them.
3. Promotional Offer
The offer consists in the selection of one of the following options:
A) 200€ on a credit card
To award this offer it is required that the Customer hold an active Credit Card at Banco Best.
Customers who do not have a credit card must request one, being subject to business analysis. The
selected credit card should be associated with the account of domiciliation of the salary/pension.
B) 40.000 miles for the TAP Victoria Program
To award this offer it is necessary that the Customer be a member of the TAP Victoria Program and
adherent to it at Banco Best.
To join the Victoria Program at Banco Best:
a) Customers who have not yet joined the Victoria Program at Banco Best should join through the
website (www.bancobest.pt) or the help line (707 246 707 from 07.30 to 24h), indicating their
Victoria membership number;
b) Customers who are not yet members of the Victoria Program, may become a member through the
website (www.tapvictoria.com), after which they must join at Banco Best, as per point a).
C) Remunerated Sight Account up to 5% (TANB*) for 1 year
The account where the salary/pension was domiciled will be remunerated at a promotional rate for 1
year under the following conditions:

Remuneration per divided balances. Components of the balance below € 1,000 and over € 7,500 are
not paid. Interest calculated daily and allocated monthly. Minimum 2 EUR. Interest subject to IRS at
the rate of 25%.

4. Form of Accession and Allocation of Promotional Offer
To join this campaign, customers should:
1) Carry out the domiciliation of their salary/pension as per instructions of their employer (codified as salary code "08");
2) After checking the 1st credit in the account, contact their PFA - Personal Financial Advisor or the help line
by calling 707 246 707 (from 7h30 to 24h), complete and submit the form provided for that purpose during
the duration of the campaign.
Having met the eligibility criteria and joined the campaign, the awarding of the offer will be made:
•
By the end of the month following the finalization of the accession to the campaign, in the case of the offer
of miles;
•
Within 2 weeks after the formal accession to the campaign, for the other two offers.
5. Period of Stay
The allocation of the promotional offer requires the domiciliation of the salary/pension for a minimum period of
24 consecutive months. If the domiciliation ceases before the expiry of this deadline, a debit of €200 will be
applies to the account.
6. Observations and Exclusions
Customers who present events of default of any obligations arising from the "General Conditions of Account
Opening and Handling and Custody of Securities" will automatically be excluded from this campaign. In case
there are any anomalies in the awarding of the offer, derived from technical difficulties, fraud, miscalculation or
any other reason attributable to the Customer or the Bank, their correction can only be made by September
