Immersion Conference in São Paulo
“In the workshop that I presented with my partner at BIC
we talked about the importance of the partnership between
the Portuguese and English teachers in the literacy process. We
spoke of the need to establish a plan to monitor the progress of
our students, how we use tables and about the importance of
establishing times during the week for meetings focused on the
exchange of data. We also shared how we did our planning to
ensure the progress of our students, especially those who were
still in the literacy process. It was very rewarding to share our
experience in such an important congress as the BIC. We received
positive feedback during the event and also later by e-mail, which
delights and motivates me to continue with the ongoing study of
how to improve my practice.” Bianca D. Nunes
