Lobo & de Rizzo in shopping mall buy
Brazil’s Lobo & de Rizzo Advogados has helped Hemisfério Sul Investimento buy
out BRMalls’ stake in Rio de Janeiro’s Shopping Fashion Mall and take full
ownership for US$67 million.
BRMalls relied on in-house counsel for the transaction, which closed on 27
November.
The mall is located in the São Conrado neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro. The
acquisition is part of Hemisfério Sul Investimento’s strategy, through its subsidary
REC Saphyr, to develop its market position in Brazil.
