UNICEF BRAZIL VACANCY NOTICE # BRZ/2013/010 Internal & External Advertisement The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the world’s leading Organization working for the rights of children, is inviting applications for this position: POST TITLE (National Officer Category) Private Sector Fundraising and Licensing Specialist Purpose: LEVEL DUTY STATION CONTRACT TYPE CLOSING DATE NO3 São Paulo Fixed Term 28 October 2013 Under the leadership and guidance of the Resource Mobilization & Partnership Manager, the incumbent is responsible to develop and manage licensing agreements in the Brazilian market that will generate funds for the Country Program, as well as develop the private sector strategy and translate it into a clear action plan in order to engage corporate partners to support UNICEF’s mission. The incumbent will lead, manage and inspire the corporate team in order to achieve the goals that were set for the team. Duties and Responsabilities Develop the corporate fundraising strategy with the RM&P Manager and translate the stratey into a concrete plan; Negociate new alliances with corporate partners and manage and strengthen relations with current partner; Manage, lead and inspire the Private Sector Fundraising Officer and work closely together in order to achieve the goals of the corporate fundraising team; Represent UNICEF in business community events ensuring UNICEF visibility within the segment and opening opportunities to establish new alliances; Recruit, train and support, where appropriate, high level consultants and volunteers to fulfill tasks as required by the private sector fundraising plan; Evaluate and analyze financial and non-financial results from the private sector fundraising channel, checking efficiency of strategies used and suggesting necessary adjustments. Manage the channel with a view of increasing results and revenue; Implement an appropriate licensing strategy and action plan to increase the income generated by PL&M activities. Incorporate this strategy in the overall private sector fundraising strategy. Duration: One (01) year, renewable. Minimum Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Business qualifications, Requirements: Administration, Management Sciences, Economics, Marketing or equivalent specialized training in Marketing, Advertising or Private Sector Fundraising. Work Experience: Five (05) years of professional experience in partnership development including specific experience in negotiating and cultivating relations with external corporate partners, either in the public or the private sector. Familiarity with corporate fundraising and/or corporate engagement. Language Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of Portuguese and English. Good knowledge of Spanish is highly desirable.
