1.º Issuer: Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril Text: Call — 1 — In accordance with the teaching staff of Higher Education Statute (ECPDESP), approved by Law Decree No. 185/81, of July 1st, and amended by Law Decree No. 69/88, of March 3rd, republished as an annex to the Law Decree No. 207/2009, of August 31st, and amended by law No 7/2010 of may 13th, it becomes public that by order of the President of the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril (ESHTE), is open for a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this notice in the Diário da República, a documentary competition for recruitment of a Coordinator Professor, in the form of contract in public functions for an indefinite period employment, to the Application Techniques and Technology scientific área, disciplinary areas of Tourism Itinerary and Resources, Tourism Products, Professional Practice on Tourism Information, Internships – 1 (one) vacancy. 2 — Applicable law — Status of the Higher Education Career Teaching Staff of (ECPDESP), approved by Decree-Law No. 185/81 of 1/07, amended by Decree-Law No. 207/2009 of August 31st and by law No 7/2010 of may 13th; and other complementary legislation applicable to workers who carry out public functions. 3 – Place of work – The place of work is Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril (ESHTE). 4 — number of place jobs to be occupied — 1. 5 — Mode legal employment relationship —contract in public functions for an indefinite period. 6 —Functional content characterization —The Coordinator professor is responsible for exercising the functions listed in paragraph 5 of article 3 of Law Decree No. 185/81 July, as amended by Law Decree No. 207/2009, of August 31st and by law No 7/2010 of may 13th, and the salary provided according to remuneration system of higher education teaching staff. 7 — Admission Requirements— Are cumulative requirements for admission to the competition: a) Be the holder of the general requirements laid down in paragraph 1 b) of article 8 of law No 12A/2008, of 27 February (LVCR); b) Hold a PhD or specialization degree, for more than 5 years, in the field or related area that is open to the invitation to tender; c) Excecionalmente, can be admitted teachers holders of a doctorate in September 1st, 2009, and who meet the other requirements set out in paragraph 1, subparagraphs b) and c) article 8 (transitional regime) of Law Decree No. 207/2009, of August 31st, in the terms of the law No. 7/ 2010 May 13th. 8 — Call dead line 8.1 — the call is valid for the job concerned, expiring with his occupation or by absence or insufficiency of candidates. 8.2 — the competition may still stop by reasoned act of the President of ESHTE, respecting the general principles of administrative activity as well as the legal limits, regulations and of the call. 9 — Presentation of application form: The applications must be presented through papper form requirement, addressed to the ESHTE President, in Portuguese language, in person or address by registed mail, with notice of reception, to Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril, Avenida Condes de Barcelona, 2769-510 Estoril, Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril, Avenida Condes de Barcelona, 2769-510 Estoril, until the deadline for the applications submission, being noticed, in this case, to the registration date. 9.1.1 — E-mail submission applications are not allowed. 9.2- The application requirement must compulsory contain the updated elements: a) identification of the application call, notice number, with mention of the Diário da República in which it was published; b) identification of the candidate (name, date of birth, gender, nationality, id card/citizen card, tax identification number, mailing address, postal code, email and phone numbers) c) Identification of the category and the institution where teaching service is provided, when applicable, and currently hold position d) Academic Degree and Title e) signed statement in which the candidate declares the truth of the elements or facts contained in the application; 9.3 — The application is accompanied by the following documentation: a) Six paper copies of the curriculum vitae, dated and signed, and a digital copy of this curriculum; b) Six copies of the selected works mentioned on the Curriculum vitae, wich must be in digital form c) Documents (original or authenticated) authenticating that the candidate fulfills the requirements referred to in the b) paragraph of the nº7 of the present notice. d) Documents (original or authenticated) authenticating that the candidate fulfills the requirements referred to in the c) paragraph of the nº7 of the present notice. 9.4 - The candidates who exercise functions in ESHTE are exempted from submission of documents that already exist in the respective individual processes and that it be expressly stated in the requirements. 9.5 - The lack of presentation or the presentation out of time of the documents referred to in this public notice, determine the exclusion of the bid. 9.6 The lack of presentation of the documents referred in the Curriculum by the candidate, implies the non- admittance of the elements aiming to state. 10- Selection Method: 10.1 - The method of selection is the curricular review 11 - Evaluation parameters and rate – the evaluation and rate criteria and the respective weights are as follows: A) The technical-scientific and professional performance of the candidate, based on the analysis of the works and activities contained in the curriculum, in particular of those who have been selected by the candidate as the most representative (40%); a. It should be the object of consideration, namely, the projects of research and development, scientific production, publications, communications and conferences, nationally and internattionally, the thesis leading to academic degree guidance, participating in panels of academic evidence, the allegation of theses leading to academic degree and professional nature activities with relevance in the area or subject areas in which the contest is open. B) The candidate's teaching capacity, taking into account, inter alia, the analysis of the quality and extent of its previous pedagogical practice (40%); a. It must be the object of consideration, namely, performance evaluation, pedagogical practice, mastery of subject areas, or taught course units, participation in the development of programs, manuals and supporting materials to the school activities’, the supervision of internships, pedagogical practices, teaching and other activities of the same nature. C) Other activities relevant to the Mission of the institution of higher Educations that have been developed by the candidate, including organizational and management (20%). a. It must be the object of consideration, namely, the exercise of management positions and management councils, other councils of the institution and other organs or structures; coordination and development of projects or activities of a practical character, since framed in the area or subject areas in which the contest is open; Course coordination and department, scientific and pedagogical comissions. 12- Public hearings: 12.1 — The jury will decide, at its first meeting, on the need to proceed to the public hearing, which must take place no later than 20 days after the date of the applications assessment meeting. 12.2 — The schedule and the script of the public hearings are communicated to applicants within, at least, 5 working days before the date of its completion. 13. – Assessment and final rate 13.1 -The assessment system and final rate of the candidates are exposed on the official jury report. 14. – The jury reports are available for the candidate under request 15 – The candidate presented documents are destroyed within one year after the closure of the process if not requested its refund 16. - false statement will be punished under the law 17 —Jury composition 17.1 – The jury is composed by the following elements: President: Maria Manuela Mendes Guerra, Coordenator Professor from Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril (ESHTE), under competence delegated by Despacho n.º 169/PRES/ESHTE/2012.
