Projeto Azul Objectives
Develop a network of systematic ocean observations, provided in
neal real time for Santos Basin region.
Train professionals in operational oceanography: data collection,
ocean modeling, data assimilation. (20+ scholarships)
Distribute all data collected through a web portal.
Contribute for the improvement of Santos Basin ocean dynamics
knowledge.

Concluding Remarks
Projeto Azul is a 3-year project.
It is certainly one piece of the puzzle. It won´t fulfill all the needs
for ocean observations in Santos Basin: Partnerships!
In the end of 3-years we intend to be in position of starting ocean
forecasting.
We need data assimilation!
All data easily available for who wants to make good use of it!
