Cet appareil n'est pas destin tre mis en fonctionnement au moyen d'une minuterie extrieure ou par un systme de commande distance spar. Pour votre scurit,
cet appareil est conforme aux normes et rglementations applicables (Directives Basse Tension, compatibilit Electromagntique, matriaux en contact des
aliments, environnement...). Conformment l'avis de la CSC du 2/12/04, ce produit est quip d'une conception mcanique permettant de dsolidariser le systme
d'jection du pain de l'lment de coupure de l'alimentation lectrique. Vrifiez que la tension du rseau correspond bien celle indique sur l'appareil (courant
alternatif seulement).
@@@@ Branchez toujours l'appareil sur une prise relie la terre. @@@@ L'appareil doit tre exclusivement en position debout, jamais couch, inclin ou
l'envers pour son fonctionnement. Avant chaque utilisation, vrifiez que la trappe ramasse miettes est bien positionne dans son logement. Enlevez rgulirement
les miettes par la trappe. Le bouton de commande du chariot doit tre dans la position haute quand vous branchez ou dbranchez votre appareil. Dbranchez
l'appareil quand il ne sert pas et avant de le nettoyer. Attendre qu'il refroidisse pour le nettoyer ou avant de le ranger. En fin de cycle, si les tranches de pain
restaient coinces entre les grilles, dbranchez, et attendez que l'appareil refroidisse avant de retirer le pain. Dbranchez l'appareil si une anomalie de
fonctionnement se produisait. Utilisez un plan de travail stable l'abri des projections d'eau et en aucun cas dans une niche de cuisine intgre.
NE PAS FAIRE Ne rangez pas le cordon ou la prise dans l'appareil entre les grilles. Ne dbranchez pas l'appareil en tirant sur le cordon. Ne portez pas ou ne
dplacez pas l'appareil pendant l'utilisation. Cet appareil n'est pas prvu pour tre utilis par des personnes (y compris les enfants) dont les capacits physiques,
sensorielles ou mentales sont rduites, ou des personnes dnues d'exprience ou de connaissance, sauf si elles ont pu bnficier, par l'intermdiaire d'une personne
responsable de leur scurit, d'une surveillance ou d'instructions pralables concernant l'utilisation de l'appareil. Il convient de surveiller les enfants pour
s'assurer qu'ils ne jouent pas avec l'appareil.
Ne laissez jamais l'appareil fonctionner sans surveillance et particulirement chaque premier grillage ou changement de rglage. N'utilisez pas l'appareil pour
tout autre usage que celui pour lequel il a t conu. Ne touchez pas les parties mtalliques ou chaudes de l'appareil en cours d'utilisation. N'utilisez pas ou
n'introduisez pas dans le grille-pain d'ustensiles en mtal qui pourraient provoquer des courts-circuits (cuillre, couteau..
.). N'ajoutez pas au grille-pain des accessoires qui ne sont pas recommands par le fabricant car cela peut-tre dangereux. Afin d'viter les chocs lectriques, ne
plongez pas dans l'eau le fil lectrique, la prise de courant ou tout l'appareil. Ne grillez pas de pains susceptibles de fondre (avec glaage) ou de couler dans le
toaster, ne grillez pas de petits morceaux de pain ou croutons, cela pourrait causer des dommages ou un risque de feu. N'introduisez pas dans l'appareil des
trop grosses tranches de pain susceptibles de coincer le mcanisme du grille-pain. N'utilisez pas l'appareil si : - celui-ci a un cordon dfectueux ou endommag, l'appareil est tomb et prsente des dtriorations visibles ou des anomalies de fonctionnement. Dans chacun de ces cas, l'appareil doit tre envoy au centre de
service aprs vente agr le plus proche, afin d'viter tout danger. Consultez la garantie. Si le cble d'alimentation est endommag, il doit tre remplac par le
fabricant, son service aprs vente ou des personnes de qualification similaire afin d'viter un danger.
Ne laissez pas le cordon pendre dans le vide ou toucher toutes surfaces brlantes. N'utilisez l'appareil que dans la maison. Evitez les lieux humides. Ne posez
pas votre grille-pain sur toutes surfaces chaudes, ni trop prs d'un four chaud. Ne pas couvrir l'appareil pendant son fonctionnement. Le pain peut brler, aussi
l'appareil ne doit pas tre utilis proximit ou en dessous de rideaux et autres matriaux combustibles (tagres, meubles...). L'appareil doit tre utilis sous
surveillance.
Ne placez jamais de papier, carton ou plastique dans, sur ou sous l'appareil. S'il arrivait que certaines parties du produit s'enflamment, ne tentez jamais de
les teindre avec de l'eau. Dbranchez l'appareil et touffez les flammes avec un linge humide. Ne tentez jamais d' enlever le pain lorsque le cycle de grillage est
enclench. N'utilisez pas le grille-pain comme source de chaleur ou de schage.
N'utilisez pas le grille-pain pour cuire, griller, rchauffer ou dcongeler des plats surgels . N'utilisez pas l'appareil simultanment pour le grillage du pain et le
rchauffage des viennoiseries (selon modle). Le support mtallique est trs chaud. Evitez de le toucher. Utilisez des gants ou une pince pain (selon modle).
Pour l'entretien, n'utilisez ni produit agressif (dcapant base de soude, produit d'entretien des mtaux, eau de javel etc.), ni d'ustensiles mtalliques, ni d'ponge
grattoir, ni de tampon abrasif. Pour les appareils avec dcoration mtallique : ne pas utiliser de produits d'entretien spcifiques pour mtaux (inox, cuivre...),
mais un chiffon doux avec un produit nettoyant les vitres. Cet appareil a t conu pour un usage domestique uniquement, toute utilisation professionnelle, non

les autocollants. L'emballage est recyclable . Ne le jetez pas.
Mettez 1 ou 2 fois le grille-pain (VIDE) en marche sur la position de rglage maximum afin d'liminer l'odeur de neuf. Arez la pice. LE GRILLAGE DU PAIN
Le levier de commande est en position haute, disposez les tranches de pain dans les fentes - fig.1. Tournez le bouton de rglage entre 1 et 7 suivant la nature et
l'paisseur du pain - fig.2. 1 - Peu grill 4 - 5 Bien grill 2 - 3 Lgrement grill 6 - 7 Trs grill Abaissez le levier de commande, il se verrouille en position basse, et
les tranches de pain sont centres automatiquement - fig.4. Le levier de commande monte et baisse du chariot ne s'enclenche en position basse que lorsque
l'appareil est branch. Si vous grillez une seule tranche de pain ou du pain sec diminuez le niveau de grillage.
Le grille-pain s'arrte automatiquement en fin de grillage. Le levier de commande remonte et le pain est mis disposition. FONCTION HI-LIFT remonte extrahaute - fig.5. Pour saisir plus facilement les petites tranches de pain, relevez le levier de commande une fois le cycle de grillage termin.
FONCTION STOP/EJECT - fig.3. Pour interrompre le fonctionnement en cours, appuyez sur la touche "stop/eject" : le pain sera remont automatiquement. Ne
forcez jamais la remonte du levier de commande au cours du cycle de grillage, vous risqueriez de dtriorer le mcanisme. RCHAUFFAGE DES CROISSANTS,

risquent de se dtacher et d'endommager l'appareil. Abaissez le levier de commande jusqu' le verrouiller. A la fin du rchauffage, le levier de commande
remonte. Pour rchauffer l'autre face, retournez les croissants et petits pains en utilisant des gants ou une pince pain si ncessaire - fig.8. (Pince pain non
fournie avec le produit). Laissez 1 2 minutes sur le support de rchauffage encore chaud.
Pour abaisser le support de rchauffage, poussez le bouton de commande dans le sens inverse. RCHAUFFAGE DU PAIN A L'INTRIEUR - fig.9. Abaissez le
levier de commande et appuyez sur la touche "rchauffage" * , vous obtiendrez un temps court adapt pour simplement rchauffer votre pain dj grill.
FONCTION DCONGLATION - fig.10. Rglez le degr de grillage, abaissez le levier de com*, mande et appuyez sur la touche "dconglation" un temps de
grillage sera automatiquement slectionn pour dcongeler puis griller votre pain. NETTOYAGE, ENTRETIEN, RANGEMENT Avant tout entretien, nettoyage ou
rangement, dbranchez et laissez refroidir l'appareil. Pour essuyer l'extrieur de l'appareil : utilisez un linge lgrement humide. Schez - fig.

Faites-le rgulirement, idalement aprs chaque utilisation (grillage ou rchauffage). S'il reste des crotes, miettes ou dbris entre les lments chauffants ou dans
l'appareil, retournez l'appareil, ouverture vers le bas pour faire tomber ces rsidus. Bien remettre en place le tiroir ramasse-miettes dans son logement. Vrifiez
avant chaque utilisation. Pour ranger le cordon, enroulez-le dans l'emplacement prvu sous l'appareil.
Participons la protection de l'environnement ! Votre appareil contient de nombreux matriaux valorisables ou recyclables. Confiez celui-ci daikant zijn
aanbevolen. Dat zou gevaarlijk kunnen zijn. U dient geen brood te roosteren dat in de broodrooster zou kunnen smelten (met glazuur). Dat kan namelijk tot
beschadiging of brandgevaar leiden. Stop in het apparaat niet te grote sneden brood die het mechanisme van de broodrooster kunnen blokkeren. Gebruik het
apparaat niet indien: - het snoer kapot of beschadigd is, - het apparaat gevallen is, zichtbare schade vertoont of niet goed functioneert. In elk van deze
gevallen dient u het apparaat naar de dichtstbijzijnde erkende servicedienst te sturen om gevaarlijke situaties te vermijden (zie bijgaande serveder moment
onderbreken door een druk op de "stop/eject"-toets . De brood komt zo automatisch omhoog en de verwarmen wordt onderbroken. Probeer nooit de omhoog
duwen van de bedieningsknop te forceren, tijdens de roosteren, u zou zo de mechanisme kunnen beschadigen.
DE OPWARMEN VAN CROISSANTS, BROODJES, GEBAK... Verwarm geen etenswaren waarvan vet of suiker kan smelten. Verschuif knop C om de
broodjesopwarmer omhoog te laten komen - fig.6. Stel de thermostaat in tussen stand 3 en 4 - fig.2. Leg de croissants, bolletjes, luxe broodjes, puntjes e.d.
fig.7 op de broodjesopwarmer. Verwijder voor de roosteren van krentenbrood de krenten die loszitten en de apparaat zouden kunnen beschadigen. *
afhankelijk van de model Duw de bedieningsknop naar beneden totdat hij in de laagste stand vergrendeld is. De warmte stijgt en verspreidt zich over de
metalen houder om de broodjes op gelijkmatige wijze op te warmen.
Wanneer de broodrooster uitgaat, komt de bedieningsknop omhoog. Om de andere kant op te warmen draait u de croissants en broodjes op de nog warme
metalen houder om, eventueel met een ovenwant of een broodtang - fig.8. (Broodtang niet met de apparaat meegeleverd). Laat de broodjes 1 tot 2 minuten
afkoelen op de nog warme broodjesopwarmer.
Om de broodjesopwarmer te laten zakken, de knop van de broodjesopwarmer weer verschuiven. BROOD OPWARMEN IN DE BROODROOSTER - fig.9.
Duw de bedieningsknop naar beneden en druk op de "opwarm toets" *, zodat de geroosterde brood alleen eventjes wordt opgewarmd. ONTDOOISTAND fig.10. Stel de thermostaat in, duw de bedieningsknop naar *. beneden en druk op de knop voor de ontdooien De brood zal iets langer geroosterd worden
omdat de broodrooster eerst automatisch de brood ontdooit voordat de geroosterd wordt. REINIGING, ONDERHOUD, OPBERGEN Haal vr de
onderhouden, reinigen of opbergen de stekker uit de stopcontact en laat de apparaat afkoelen. Gebruik een zachte vochtige doek voor de schoonmaken van de
buitenkant van de apparaat en de snoer.

Droog de daarna af - fig.11. Gebruik voor de onderhoud geen agressieve middelen (schuurmiddelen met soda, onderhoudsmiddel voor metaal, bleekwater,
enz.), metalen voorwerpen, afkrabbers of schuursponsjes. Voor de reinigen van de kruimellade: open de kruimellade en verwijder de kruimels - fig.12. Doe dit
regelmatig, bij voorkeur na ieder gebruik (roosteren of opwarmen). Indien er korstjes, kruimels of stukjes brood tussen de verwarmingselementen liggen of in
de apparaat achtergebleven zijn, keer dan de apparaat om met de opening naar beneden gericht, zodat deze resten uit de apparaat vallen. Zet de kruimellade
goed terug op zijn plaats. Controleer of de lade goed is geplaatst voordat u de apparaat weer gebruikt.
De snoer kan opgerold worden in de snoeropbergruimte onder de apparaat. Wees vriendelijk voor de milieu ! Uw apparaat bevat materialen die geschikt zijn

Fernbedienung betrieben werden. Um Ihre Sicherheit zu gewhrleisten, entspricht dieses Gert den jeweils anwendbaren Normen und Bestimmungen
(Niederspannung, Elektromagnetische Vertrglichkeit, Materialien in Kontakt mit Lebensmitteln, Umweltvertrglichkeit.
..) Gem der Entscheidung des CSC vom 2.12.04 ist das Produkt mit einer mechanischen Vorrichtung zur Trennung des Brotauswurfsystems vom Element zur
Stromabschaltung ausgestattet.
Versichern Sie sich, dass die Netzspannung der auf dem Gert angegebenen Spannung entspricht (nur Wechselspannung). Bei Verwendung des Gerts in einem
Land, in dem es nicht gekauft wurde, muss es in einem anerkannten Kundendienstzentrum (siehe beiliegende Liste) berprft werden, um sicher zu gehen, dass
das Gert allen dort gltigen Normen entspricht. Entfernen Sie vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme alle Verpackungen und Aufkleber nnerhalb und auerhalb des
Gertes und entnehmen Sie das Zubehr. Versichern Sie sich, dass Ihre elektrische Installation den gltigen Normen entspricht und fr die Stromversorgung eines
Gertes dieser Leistungsstrke geeignet ist. Das Gert darf nur an geerdete Steckdosen angeschlossen werden und das Kabel muss vollstndig abgewickelt
werden. Bei fehlerhaftem Anschluss erlicht die Garantie. Verwenden Sie nur Verlngerungskabel in gutem Zustand, die ber einen geerdeten Stecker verfgen
und deren Durchmesser mindestens ebenso gro sein muss wie der des Gertekabels und sie muss so verlegt werden das niemand darber stolpert. ZUM
SCHUTZ GEGEN UNFLLE IM HAUSHALT: Bei der Benutzung von elektrischen Gerten sind einige Grundregeln zu beachten: IMMER: Lesen Sie die
Gebrauchsanweisung vollstndig durch und beachten Sie die Bedienungsanweisung genau. Das Gert darf nur in aufrechter Stellung in Betrieb genommen
werden, niemals auf der Seite liegend, schief stehend oder verkehrt herum. Versichern Sie sich vor jeder Benutzung, dass sich die Krmelschublade an ihrem
Platz befindet.
Entfernen Sie regelmig die Krmel aus dem Toasterschlitz und der Krmelschublade. Beim An und Ausstecken des Gerts muss die Absenktaste auf Position
"oben" stehen. Beim Auftreten von Funktionsstrungen muss das Gert vom Netz genommen werden. Nach der Benutzung oder whrend der Reinigung des
Gertes muss der Netzstecker gezogen sein. Vor dem Reinigen und Aufbewahren abkhlen lassen. Sollten Brotscheiben zwischen den Grillrosten festsitzen, so
muss man das Gert vor dem Herausziehen der Brotscheiben abkhlen lassen und den Netzstecker ziehen. Das Gert muss stabil und vor Wasserspritzern
geschtzt stehen. Fcher von Einbaukchen sind als Standplatz gnzlich ungeeignet. Benutzen Sie das Gert nicht, wenn die Zuleitung oder der Stecker. Beschdigt
sind.
Um jede Gefahr zu vermeiden lassen Sie diese Teile durch den Kundendienst austauschen. NIEMALS: Das Kabel und der Netzstecker des Gerts drfen nicht
zwischen den Grillrosten des Gerts aufbewahrt werden. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie am Kabel aus der Steckdose. Das Gert darf whrend des Betriebs nicht
verstellt oder verschoben werden. Dieses Gert darf nicht von Personen (inbegriffen Kindern) mit eingeschrnkten krperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen
Fhigkeiten benutzt werden.
Das Gleiche gilt fr Personen, die keine Erfahrung mit dem Gert besitzen oder sich mit ihm nicht auskennen, auer wenn sie von einer fr ihre Sicherheit
verantwortlichen Person beaufsichtigt werden oder von dieser mit dem Gebrauch des Gert vertraut gemacht wurden. Kinder mssen beaufsichtigt werden,
damit sie nicht mit dem Gert spielen. Das Gert ist fr den Hausgebrauch in geschlossenen Rumen bestimmt. Nicht an feuchten Orten aufstellen. Lassen Sie das
Gert niemals unbeaufsichtigt in Betrieb, besonders bei der ersten Anwendung und nach Vernderung der Einstellungen.
Das Gert darf nur zu den dafr vorgesehenen Zwecken verwendet werden. Berhren Sie whrend des Betriebs des Gerts nicht die Metall- und heien Teile.
Verwenden Sie mit diesem Toaster aus Sicherheitsgrnden ausschlielich vom Hersteller empfohlenes Zubehr. Toasten Sie kein Brot, das im Toaster schmelzen
(Glasur) oder sich verflssigen knnte, das Gert knnte dadurch beschdigt oder in Brand gesetzt werden. Stecken Sie keine zu groen Brotscheiben in das Gert, die
den Mechanismus des Toasters verklemmen knnten. Lassen Sie das Kabel nicht runterhngen oder mit den heien Teilen des Gertes in Berhrung geraten. Zur
Vermeidung von Stromschlgen drfen das Kabel der Netzstecker und das Gert nie in Wasser oder andere Flssigkeiten getaucht werden. Stecken Sie nie
Metallobjekte (Lffel, Messer...
) in den Toaster, da dadurch ein Kurzschluss hervorgerufen werden knnte. Das Gert darf nicht benutzt werden, wenn: - das Kabel beschdigt ist, - das Gert
heruntergefallen ist und dabei sichtbare Schden davongetragen hat oder Funktionsstrungen auftreten. In diesen Fllen mssen Sie das Gert zu Ihrer eigenen
Sicherheit bei einem anerkannten Kundendienstzentrum berprfen lassen. Lesen Sie die Garantiebedingungen. Sollte das Stromkabel beschdigt sein, muss es
aus Sicherheitsgrnden vom Hersteller, seinem Kundendienst oder hnlich qualifizierten Personen ausgetauscht werden. Stellen Sie den Toaster nie auf heie
Flchen oder in die Nhe eines heien Ofens. Wenn das Gert in Betrieb ist, darf es nicht abgedeckt werden. Jeder Eingriff, auer der im Haushalt blichen
Reinigung und Pflege durch den Kunden, muss durch den Kundendienst erfolgen. Da das Brot anbrennen kann, darf das Gert nicht in die Nhe oder unter
Vorhnge und andere brennbare Materialien (Regale, Mbel..
.) gestellt werden. Das Gert muss unter Aufsicht betrieben werden. In, auf oder unter dem Gert darf sich niemals Papier, Karton oder Plastik befinden. Falls
Teile des Gerts Feuer fangen, versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall, dieses mit Wasser zu lschen.
Stecken Sie das Gert aus und ersticken Sie die Flammen mit einem nassen Tuch. Versuchen Sie nie, das Brot vor Beendung der eingestellten Brunungszeit aus
dem Toaster zu ziehen.

Benutzen Sie den Toaster nicht als Wrmequelle oder als Trockner. Der Toaster darf nicht zum Kochen, Grillen, Aufwrmen oder Auftauen von
Tiefkhlprodukten verwendet werden. Das Gert darf nicht gleichzeitig zum Toasten von Brot und zum Aufwrmen von Viennoiserien verwendet werden (Je nach

RecyclingVerpackung . Nehmen Sie den (LEEREN) Toaster bei hchster Rstgradeinstellung ein- oder zweimal in Betrieb, um den Neugeruch zu entfernen. DAS
TOASTEN Der Bedienungshebel befindet sich in oberer Position, Brotscheiben einlegen - fig.1. Thermostat-Regler je nach Art und Dicke des Brotes in die
gewnschte Position zwischen 1 und 7 drehen - fig.2. 1 - Wenig getoastet 4 - 5 Gut getoastet 2 - 3 Leicht getoastet 6 - 7 Stark getoastet Bedienungshebel senken
und in der unteren Position einrasten lassen. Die Brotscheiben werden automatisch zwischen den Heizelementen zentriert, die nun aktiviert werden - fig.4.
Bei diesem Toaster rastet der AUF-und ABBedienungshebel nur dann in der unteren Position ein, wenn das Gert angeschlossen ist. Bei Toasten einer
einzelnen Scheibe oder von trockenem Brot, sollte eine niedrigere Brunungsstufe eingestellt werden. Der Toaster schaltet sich automatisch am Ende des
Toastvorgangs aus. Der Bedienungshebel bewegt sich nach oben und das Brot ist nun fertig. FUNKTION "HI-LIFT" Brot-Lift-Funktion - fig.
5. Um kleine Brotscheiben besser entnehmen zu knnen, schieben Sie am Ende des Toastvorgangs den Bedienungshebel nach oben. FUNKTION STOP/EJECT
- fig.3. Sie knnen das Toasten oder Aufwrmen whrend des Zyklus und alle anderen Funktionen jederzeit unterbrechen, indem Sie die rechts am Gert
befindliche Taste bedienen STOP/EJECT : das Brot kommt automatisch heraus.
Heben Sie nie mit Gewalt den Bedienungshebel whrend des Brunungsvorganges, Sie beschdigen so den Mechanismus. AUFWRMEN VON CROISSANTS,
BRTCHEN etc. Keine fetten oder gezuckerten Lebensmittel, die zerlaufen knnten, aufwrmen! Schieben Sie die Bedienungstaste des Brtchenaufsatzes, bis
dieser nach oben klappt. - fig.6. Stellen Sie den Brunungsgradregler zwischen den Stufen 2 und 3 ein - fig.2. * je nach Modell Legen Sie die Croissants,
Brtchen etc. - fig.7 auf die Metallstbe.
Wenn Sie Rosinenbrot toasten wollen, Rosinen entfernen, denn sie knnten sich lsen und in das Gert fallen. Nach Ende des Brunungsvorganges hebt sich der
Bedienhebel automatisch. Um die andere Seite aufzuwrmen, Croissants bzw. Brtchen umdrehen, indem Sie Handschuhe oder eine Brotzange verwenden fig.8. (Brotzange nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten). Lassen Sie die Brtchen auf dem noch warmen Aufsatz 1 bis 2 Minuten abkhlen. Um den Aufsatz nach unten
zu klappen, drcken Sie die Schalttaste in die andere Richtung. FUNKTION AUFWRMUNG - fig.9.
Senken Sie den Bedienungshebel und drcken Sie auf "Aufwrmen" *, Sie erwrmen somit in kurzer Zeit schon getoastetes Brot. FUNKTION AUFTAUEN fig.10. Geben Sie das Brot in die dafr vorgesehenen Schlitze, bettigen Sie den Schalthebel, bis er einrastet und *. Es wird nun drcken Sie dann die
"AUFTAUTASTE" automatisch eine verlngerte Toastzeit gewhlt, um das Brot aufzutauen und gleichzeitig zu toasten.
REINIGUNG, WARTUNG, AUFBEWAHRUNG Vor jeder Wartung, Reinigung oder Aufbewahrung Gert vom Stromnetz trennen und abkhlen lassen. Um das
Gehuse und den Netzstecker zu reinigen, verwenden Sie ein mit Splmittel angefeuchtetes Tuch oder Schwamm. Gert danach trocknen lassen - fig.11. Fr die
Reinigung weder aggressive Mittel (Scheuermittel, Reinigungsmittel fr Metalle usw.
) noch Metallgegenstnde, Kratzschwmme oder Scheuerkissen verwenden. Um die Krmelschublade zu reinigen, diese herausziehen und die Krmel entfernen fig.12. Machen Sie dies regelmig, am besten nach jeder Benutzung (Toasten oder Aufwrmen). Wenn Krusten, Krmel oder Stcke zwischen den Heizelementen
des Gertes stecken, Metallaufsatz (wenn er abnehmbar ist) herausnehmen, Gert umdrehen, damit die Rckstnde herausfallen. Um den Netzstecker zu verstauen,

The toaster must always be used in the upright position, never on its side or tilted forwards or backwards. Before each use make sure that the crumb door is
fitted correctly.
Regularly remove crumbs from the crumb tray. The bread control lever must be in the "Up" position before plugging in or unplugging the appliance. Unplug
the appliance if it shows any working abnormalities. Unplug from the power socket when not in use during and before cleaning. Allow to cool down before
cleaning or storing.
To disconnect remove the plug from the wall socket (when the toasting cycle is finished). If the bread jams in the slots after toasting and the elements do not
switch off, disconnect the plug immediately and wait for the appliance to cool before attempting to remove the bread. Bread can burn; Therefore do not use
this appliance near any flammable materials such as curtains, under shelving or under wall cupboards. Use on a flat, stable heat-resistant work surface, away
from any contact with water and never use underneath a built in kitchen alcove. DO NOT: Do not let the toaster operate unattended, particularly when

The control lever can only be locked in the lower position when the toaster is plugged in. It is advisable to reduce the browning level if you are toasting only
one slice of bread or dry bread. The toaster automatically stops at the end of the toasting time. The control lever lifts up automatically at three quarters of the
lever carriage and the slices of bread pop up ready. HIGH LIFT FUNCTION extra high lifting - fig.
5. Lift the control lever when the bread has finished toasting to remove the toast more easily. STOP/EJECT FUNCTION - fig.3. You can also cancel the
toasting or the reheating cycles or all other functions at any time by pressing on the "stop/eject" button : the bread will pop up. Never try and lift the control
lever by force during the toasting cycle as this could damage the mechanism. WARMING OF CROISSANTS, TEA CAKES, PITTA BREADS, ROLLS,
CRUMPETS, MUFFINS, BAGELS AND NAANS AND OTHER BREAD PRODUCTS... Do not warm sugared or fatty product(s) on the warming rack to avoid
them melting in the toaster.

6. Position the browning control between levels 3 and 4 - the toaster. Loose currants may fall into the appliance and damage the toaster. Lower the control
lever once until it locks in the low position. Once the toaster has finished heating, the control lever comes back up again. To reheat the other side, turn the
bakery products over using oven gloves or bread tongs if necessary - fig.8. (Bread tongs not provided with the toaster). Leave for 1 or 2 minutes on the
warming rack which will still be hot.
To lower the warming rack, slide the control button in the opposite direction. WARMING BREAD INSIDE THE TOASTER - fig.9. Lower the control lever and
press the "heat" *, button. The toaster will come on for just a short time to heat up bread that has already been toasted.
DEFROST FUNCTION - fig.10. Press the control lever down and press the "defrost" *, the bread will take a little longer to toast as button the toaster will
automatically defrost the bread first before toasting. MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND PUTTING AWAY Always unplug the toaster and let it cool before
any cleaning or handling. Wipe the outside of the toaster and the cord with a soft damp cloth.
Dry thoroughly - fig.11. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents (no sodabased scouring products, no scouring pads...), no metallic utensils, metal scouring
pads etc. To clean the crumb tray: pull out the tray completely. Remove the crumbs - fig.12. Do this regularly, after each use if possible (toasting or reheating).
If crumbs or crusts remain inside the heating elements, turn the toaster upside down, so that these remaining crumbs fall out. Replace the crumb tray. Check

No introducir en el aparato rebanadas demasiado gruesas que pudieran atascar el mecanismo del tostador. No utilizar el aparato si: - este tiene un cable
defectuoso, - el aparato se ha cado y presenta daos visibles o anomalas de funcionamiento. En cada uno de estos casos, se debe enviar el aparato al servicio
tcnico autorizado post-venta ms cercano con el fin de evitar cualquier peligro. Consultar la garanta. Si el cable de alimentacin est daado, debe ser
reemplazado por el fabricante, el servicio post-venta o una persona de cualificacin similar para poder evitar cualquier peligro.
No dejar el cable colgando o tocando alguna superficie que queme. No poner el tostador en superficies calientes, ni demasiado cerca de un horno caliente.
No cubrir el aparato durante su funcionamiento. El pan puede quemarse, por lo tanto el aparato no debe utilizarse cerca o debajo de las cortinas y otros

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO Antes de efectuar cualquier mantenimiento o limpieza y antes de guardar el aparato, desconectarlo y dejarlo enfriar. Para
limpiar el exterior del aparato, utilice un trapo hmedo. Seque - fig.11. No utilice productos de mantenimiento especficos para metales (acero inoxidable,

12. Efecte esta operacin regularmente, idealmente despus de cada utilizacin (tostado o recalentamiento). Si quedan restos de cortezas, migas o residuos entre
los elementos calentadores o en el aparato, voltee el aparato, apertura hacia abajo, para retirar los residuos. Coloque correctamente de nuevo la bandeja
recogemigas. Compruebe antes de cada uso.
Para recoger el cable, enrllelo en el recogecables situado bajo el aparato. Participe en la conservacin del medio ambiente ! ! Su electrodomstico contiene

Para coger ms fcilmente las pequeas rebanadas de pan, suba la palanca de mando una vez terminado el tostado. FONCTION STOP/EJECT - fig.3. Se puede
interrumpir el tostado, pulsando la tecla stop/eject : el pan subir automticamente o el recalentamiento ser interrumpido. No fuerce nunca la subida de la

No final do ciclo, se as fatias de po continuarem presas entre as grelhas, desligue e aguarde at que o aparelho arrefea antes de retirar o po. Utilize uma
bancada estvel, ao abrigo dos salpicos de gua e, em caso algum, num nicho de cozinha encastrada. A NO FAZER: No guarde o cabo de alimentao ou a
tomada no aparelho entre as grelhas.
No desligue o aparelho puxando pelo cabo de alimentao. No desloque nem transporte o aparelho durante a sua utilizao. Este aparelho no foi concebido para
ser utilizado por pessoas (incluindo crianas) cujas capacidades fsicas, sensoriais ou mentais se encontram reduzidas, ou por pessoas com falta de experincia
ou conhecimento, a no ser que tenham sido devidamente acompanhadas e instrudas sobre a correcta utilizao do aparelho, pela pessoa responsvel pela sua

alterao das definies de tostagem. No utilize o aparelho para qualquer outro uso que no aquele para o qual foi concebido. No toque nas partes metlicas ou
quentes do aparelho no decorrer da sua utilizao. No acrescente torradeira acessrios que no sejam recomendados pelo fabricante para evitar qualquer situao
de perigo.
No torre pes susceptveis de derreterem (com cobertura) ou de verterem lquido na torradeira; por forma a no danificar o aparelho e evitar qualquer situao de
perigo. No introduza no aparelho fatias de po demasiado grossas susceptveis de bloquear o mecanismo da torradeira. No utilize o aparelho se: - o cabo de
alimentao estiver danificado, - o aparelho tiver cado e apresentar danos visveis ou anomalias de funcionamento. Em qualquer um destes casos, o aparelho
deve ser enviado para o Servio de Assistncia Tcnica autorizado, de modo a evitar qualquer situao de perigo. Consulte a garantia.
Se o cabo de alimentao estiver danificado, deve ser substitudo pelo fabricante, pelo seu servio ps-venda ou por pessoas de qualificao semelhante, a fim de
evitar a ocorrncia de situaes perigosas. No coloque a torradeira sobre superfcies quentes nem demasiado perto de um forno quente. No tape o aparelho
durante o seu funcionamento. O po pode queimar. Por este motivo, o aparelho no deve ser utilizado na proximidade ou por cima de cortinados ou de outros

No a deite fora. Coloque a torradeira a funcionar uma ou dua vezes (vazia) na potncia mxima de forma a eliminar o cheiro a novo. Areje o local. TORRAR O
PO A alavanca encontra-se na posio alta : coloque as fatias de po nas fendas - fig.1.
Rode o termstato entre 1 e 7, consoante a natureza e a espessura do po - fig.2. 1 - Pouco tostado 4 - 5 Bem tostado 2 - 3 Levemente tostado 6 - 7 Super
tostado Pressione a alavanca at ficar bloqueada na posio baixa ; as fatias de po ficam automaticamente centradas - fig.4. A alavanca apenas se mantm na
posio baixa quando o aparelho est ligado. Se torrar apenas uma fatia de po ou po seco reduza o nvel de tostagem. A torradeira pra automaticamente no final
da tostagem. A alavanca sobe e pode retirar o po. FUNO HI-LIFT elevao extra - fig.5.
Para agarrar mais facilmente as fatias de po pequenas, levante a alavanca o ciclo terminado. FUNO STOP / EJECT - fig.3. Para interromper o ciclo em
curso, pressione a tecla stop /eject : o po sobe automaticamente. Nunca force a subida da alavanca por forma a no deteriorar o mecanismo. AQUECIMENTO
DE CROISSANTS, PEZINHOS, BOLOS... No aquea alimentos gordurosos ou cobertos com acar para por forma a evitar que a gordura escorra para dentro
da torradeira. Pressione o boto "aquecimento pezinhos" para levantar o suporte - fig.
6. Posicione o boto de regulao entre os nveis 3 e 4 - torradeira pra, a alavanca sobe. Para aquecer o lado oposto do po, vire os croissants e pezinhos,
utilizando, se necessrio, luvas de cozinha ou uma pina para po - fig.8. (Pina para po no fornecida com o aparelho).
Deixe 1 a 2 minutos sobre o suporte de aquecimento ainda quente. Para baixar o suporte de aquecimento, pressione o boto de comando do suporte no sentido
inverso. AQUECIMENTO DO PO NO INTERIOR - fig.9. Desa a alavanca e pressione a tecla "aquecimento" *, obter um tempo curto para aquecer apenas o
seu po j tostado.
FUNO DESCONGELAO - fig.10. Seleccione o grau de tostagem, pressione para baixo a alavanca e carregue sobre a funo "descongelao" *, um suplemento
de tempo de tostagem ser automaticamente seleccionado para descongelar e tostar o po. LIMPEZA, MANUTENO E ARRUMAO Antes de proceder a
qualquer operao de manuteno, limpeza ou arrumao, desligue o aparelho e deixe-o arrefecer. Para limpar o exterior do aparelho, utilize um pano hmido.
Seque cuidadosamente - fig.11. Para a manuteno, no utilize produtos agressivos (tais como decapantes base de soda custica, produtos para a limpeza de
metais, lixvia, etc.), nem utenslios metlicos, esponjas abrasivas. Para limpar a gaveta de recolha de migalhas : retire-a e deite fora as migalhas - fig.
12. Efectue esta operao regularmente, sendo o ideal aps cada utilizao (tostar ou aquecer). Se houver migalhas, codeas de po ou resduos entre as resistncias
ou dentro do aparelho, vire o aparelho com a abertura voltada para baixo, para fazer com que estes resduos caiam. Coloque novamente e correctamente a
gaveta de recolha de migalhas. Certifique-se que se encontra bem colocada antes de cada utilizao. Para arrumar o cabo, enrole-o por baixo do aparelho.
Proteco do ambiente em primeiro lugar! O seu produto contm materiais que podem ser recuperados ou reciclados. Entregue-o num ponto de recolha para
possibilitar o seu tratamento.
