Abstract
The research deals with the social representations about the initial training for
students of Physical Education in the Lowland Fluminense, in the State of Rio
de Janeiro. Ancora in the project called "Social representations on teacher
training (initial) for teachers of pedagogy courses and degree" in development
at the Laboratory of Studies and Research in Social Representations in / for
Teacher Education - LAGERES. The aim is to discuss the representations of
delineadoras theoretical choices and academic practices of undergraduate
students of Physical Education Unigranrio (Degree and Bachelor). The working
method was quantitative and qualitative in nature, through deep analysis and
mapping data. The results scored that no studies within the source investigated
to discuss the Social Representations on Teacher Training for Physical
Education students. Therefore, it is concluded that the scientific production on
the subject lacks studies that will promote scientific and technological
development.
