4mm Allen wrench, for plunger
adjustment.
Important Adjustment
Sealing Ring.*
1- Disconnect the engine terminal in the starter motor;
2- Energize the solenoid terminal of the solenoid for pluger
engage and pinion advance;
3- Make the pinion adjustment to get the right gap,
according to the picture.
Gap (when engaged):
37MT - 1mm;
41MT - 5mm;
42MT - 9mm.
* The cover seal ring must be always used to prevent water
entry and ensure the correct positioning of the cover.
Without the seal ring, when screwed too, the cover may
collide with the axis tip of the solenoid plunger.
