Jaime Silva – Anthological exhibition of
painting/draw’s

The anthological exhibition of the painter Jaime
Silva is composed of works from his personal
collection, from the beginning of his career,
Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto
(1966/1975), Paris (1978/1980) and others.
The techniques used by the artist are several as
traditional oil painting, applied creatively, gluing
and mixed technique on paper.

Recovered old oil-press complex, integrated in
the Marquis of Pombal Farm is today a historical
recreation pole of olive oil production.

. Palácio do Egipto Cultural Centre
Located in the Oeiras city centre, near the Oeiras Church, it is believed that the palace dates
from 18th century and it belonged to a recreational farm owned by António Rebelo de Andrade.
This emblematic space was reclassified in 2009 and transformed into a cultural centre. The
project was designed by the architect Vaz do Carmo and includes a gallery, a bookshop and a
tea-house.
From the original palace there are few elements that resisted to the degradation and changes
over the years as the main facade, the portico and a staircase.
Enjoy the space and visit the painting exhibition by Jaime Silva until December 30th.
