RESUMO
A literatura, dotada do poder de retratar, transformar e influenciar deve receber uma
análise condizente com a sua função social. Logo, a crítica literária desempenha papel
tão importante, uma vez que disseca os pormenores da trama, da estrutura, enfim, da
obra. A crítica literária, entretanto pode ser dividida em acadêmica, aquela produzida
pelos profissionais oriundos das academias, especialistas em teoria literária, e
jornalística, escrita de maneira a traduzir o conteúdo para o grande público.
No
presente trabalho serão brevemente analisadas as particularidades da critica literária,
para em seguida analisar comparativamente os blogs literários Prosa & Verso e Books,
oriundos de dois jornais: O Globo e The Guardian. A fim de enriquecer tal análise o
livro Liberdade, de Jonathan Franzen, será utilizado como suporte na comparação
entre as resenhas produzidas pelos dois blogs sobre a obra.
