Qualified holdings
Banif – Banco Internacional do Funchal, S.A. (Banif), in accordance
with the nº1 of article 17 of the Portuguese Securities Code and article
2 of the Portuguese Securities Commission Regulation nº5/2008,
informs that:
Following the completion of Banif’s share capital increase from €1.270.000.000 to
€1.370.000.000, realized in June, 26 of 2013:
1. The Portuguese State
The Portuguese State reduced its participation corresponding to the 70.000.000.000
shares that it holds in Banif’s share capital to 86.881%. This participation corresponds
to 80.810% of unrestricted voting rights and to 86,881% of restricted voting rights
(according to the limitations foreseen in paragraph 8 of article 4 of the Law nº63A/2008, November, 24).
2. Undivided estate of the late Horácio da Silva Roque (the “Herança
Indivisa de Horácio da Silva Roque”)
The Undivided estate of the late Horácio da Silva Roque (considering all entities owned
by it) now holds a qualified participation of more than 5% in Banif’s share capital
(calculated in accordance with the Article 20 of the Portuguese Securities Code) under
the following terms:

3. Auto-Industrial, Investimentos e Participações, SGPS, SA
The Auto-Industrial, Investimentos e Participações, SGPS, SA now holds more than
2%
of
Banif’s
share
capital,
having
its
participation
increased
to
3.198%,
corresponding to 2.576.377.857 shares, representing 4.677% of voting rights.
