One suggestion is Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary. One Portuguese language dictionary – Mini Aurélio – Século XXI by Editora Positivo is one suggestion for students in the Língua Pátria class. Another suggestion: Mini Houaiss - Portuguese Dictionary. (According to the “Nova Ortografia”.) One English/Portuguese - Portuguese/English dictionary – Strongly suggested for all students, but required for students in Portuguese for Foreigners class.
