Intergenerational transmission and ties across

In this workshop, we discuss how intergenerational transmission of cultural values,
language, family commitments or social involvement influences the maintenance of ties and
practices connecting Portuguese descendants in Canada and the United States with their
parents’ homelands (continental Portugal and the Azores).
