Margareth Rago:

Professor Rago is Ruth Cardoso Professor at Columbia
University and State University of Campinas, Brazil. Her
research crosses many themes, including: poststructuralism, feminism, anarchism, subjectivity, and
gender, and makes reference to such authors as
Foucault and Deleuze. She is the author of the following
books: O que é Taylorismo?, Brasiliense,1984; Do
Cabaré ao Lar. A utopia da cidade disciplinar, Paz e
Terra, 1985; Os Prazeres da Noite. Prostituição e
Códigos da Sexualidade Feminina em São Paulo, Paz e
