RELEASE CONCERNING THE RENEWAL OF THE COMPANY’S SECRETARY
MANDATE
For the purposes of item b) of Article 3 of CMVM’s Regulation no. 5/2008, Banco Espírito
Santo, SA (BES) informs that, since the mandate of the Company Secretary shall coincide
with the mandate of the corporate body appointing the Company Secretary, which has
been extended as per the release disclosed through the information disclosure system
(http://web3.cmvm.pt/sdi/emitentes/docs/fsd78353.pdf ), BES’ Board of Directors has
resolved to renew the mandate of the Company Secretary – Ana Mendes Martins – and
of the Alternate Company Secretary – Francisco Boavida Salavessa - , until the date of
the withdrawal of BES’ authorisation to pursue banking activity or until the maximum
period of one year.
