João Paulo Mateus, 40, graduated in Economics from the University of Porto and has an MBA
from AESE Business School. In the past, he worked at Banco Espírito Santo in the area of
Research and Mergers & Acquisitions. He entered EDP in 2006, and since then has served as
Advisor to the Board of Directors and Head of Corporate Sustainability & Development at EDP
Renewables. He is currently the Head of Finance and Management Support at the EDP
Foundation.
