RESUMO
A linguagem representa uma função de suma importância para o ser humano o que
diz respeito à sua interação com o meio e na formação de vínculos, permitindo que ele
construa seu pensamento, interprete o que está sentindo, revele o que tem por
conhecimento e se comunique com os outros. Sendo assim, é através da linguagem
que estão relacionados os interesses humanos referentes às pessoas e à cultura.
Portanto, seu domínio é fundamental para o ser humano fazer parte no meio social em
que se vive. Este trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar aspectos positivos que validam
a ideia de que a comunicação e interação entre professor e aluno auxiliam de modo
efetivo o processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Partindo da pergunta: “Por que alguns
professores conseguem interagir tão bem com seus alunos e outros não?”, busca
saber de que maneira a linguagem na sala de aula influencia a aprendizagem do
aluno. Buscaremos identificar aspectos de um comportamento mais adequado para
nós, professores, utilizarmos em sala de aula a fim de favorecer o processo ensinoaprendizagem a partir de dois procedimentos: estudando o conceito de Ethos e
realizando uma pesquisa de campo com os alunos do 2º ano do Ensino Médio. Com
base nas respostas dos alunos, analisaremos os aspectos positivos do trabalho de
uma professora da área de linguagens (literatura), cujas aulas são vistas como
comunicativas e interativas. O objetivo da pesquisa é mostrar os meios que o
educador pode utilizar para evitar a ausência de interação nas relações educacionais.

ABSTRACT
Language plays a role of significant importance for humans with regards to their
interaction with the environment and the formation of bonds, allowing them to build
their thinking, interpret what they’re feeling, reveal their knowledge and communicate
with others. Thus, it is through language that the to human beings interests as to
people and culture. So it is essential for humans to be part in the social environment in
which we live. This work aims to present positive aspects that validate the idea that
communication and interaction between teacher and student help effectively the
process of teaching and learning. Based on the question: “Why can some teachers
interact so well with their students and others not?” This paperwork seeks to know how
the language in the classroom influences student´s learning. Seeks to identify aspects
of a more appropriate behavior for us as teachers use it in the classroom in order to
promote the teching-learning process for two procedures: studying the concept of
Ethos and conducting field research with students in the 2nd year High School. Based
on student responses, analyze the positive aspects of a teacher in the area of
language (literature), whose classes are seen as communicative and interactive. The
objective is to show ways which educators can use to promote good interactions in
educational relations.
