Every Saturdays of August in stores book.it at 4 pm
Book.it stores receive reading sessions of the works of the storyteller António Torrado.
Under the project «Story Time» stores book.it, from north to south, will receive in August, on
Saturdays at 4 pm, reading sessions of the most emblematic works of António Torrado.
The author is a renowned poet, novelist, and playwright, author of works on pedagogy and a
pedography researcher as well as a storyteller par excellence. Among his works we can highlight «O
Macaco de Rabo Cortado e Outras Histórias», «Vem aí o Zé das Moscas e Outras Histórias», «Cantiga
do Caçador e Outras Histórias» and «Histórias à Solta na Minha Rua».
Keep in mind that «Story Time» is an initiative of book.it taking place every week in different Sonae
stores; in an hour a children’s book will be read by a Portuguese author. Therefore, the aim is to
promote in children the love for reading, promoting as well the development of their imaginative and
creative skills and increasing reading habits.
