Ricardo Cavalheiro Ricardo Cavalheiro is head of Brazil capital markets for BlackRock. He is responsible for conducting the capital markets activities for the country, which includes delivery of local market insights, domestic product expertise and execution services in Brazil. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2011, He was responsible for the Equity & Economic research department for Votorantim Corretora. He received a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas in 1996 and Master in Business Administration from Yale School of Management in 2002. Carey Chamberlain Director and Head of Equity Finance Latam Carey has had 15 over years of experience in the Securties Financing business. Starting his career in London on the stock loan trading desk, he then moved to Hong Kong in 2005 as Head of Trading overseeing HSBCs Asian stock loan, financing and collateral trading and equity swap products. In the summer of 2012 he moved to Sao Paolo to head up the Equity Finance desk there for Latam. Dan Katz Dan Katz, MD, runs Delta One & Equity Finance Sales & Marketing at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Dan has been marketing Global Delta One & Financing Products since 1999. Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2011, Dan was at Morgan Stanley for 10 years and ran Delta One Sales at Nomura for 2 years. Dan has an undergraduate degree in Law & French and a Master of Science in International Business. Richard Marquis Richard began his career in securities lending at Royal Bank of Scotland in London. After rising to supervisor of that department, he then moved to PaineWebber London to head their Collateral Management department and later developed their international trading desk in the US. Rich moved to New York and following the PaineWebber/UBS merger accepted a role on their International Equity Finance team as Executive Director. In 2009, Richard joined JP Morgan as Executive Director Co-Head of the International Product. Most recently, Richard has joined BNY Mellon as manager of the NY Equity desk, focusing on strategic development of the US international platform. Richard holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Central Lancashire Delfos Machado Delfos Machado is Head of Latam Equity Trading at HSBC Bank. He joined the bank at the end of 2010. Over the last 15 years, Delfos has worked in Equity Trading across the Emerging Markets space, having worked as Portfolio Manager at Hedge Funds in New York and Singapore, as well as serving as Head of Proprietary trading for Equities at Itau BBA, Banco Santander and Banco Votorantim. Prior to joining HSBC he was the senior partner of Dunamis Equity Partners, a High Frequency Trading PTG, where he was the first user of CEP strategies in Brazil, and specialized in high frequency arbitrage and quantitative trading. Eduardo Moreira Eduardo Moreira - Senior Partner at Plural Capital: Mr. Moreira has over 13 years experience in financial markets. He was Managing Director and global head of the Emerging Markets Repo desk at UBS AG, where he managed assets in excess of $ 20 billion. He was also Treasurer at UBS Pactual Bank for Latin America. Previously, Mr. Moreira was a partner at Banco Pactual, which he joined in 1997, where he was also responsible for the Treasury department. During his tenure at Banco Pactual, he worked as an equities trader, developing the arbitrage business; as a fixed income trader, further developing the Eurobond market for Brazilian companies; and in the area of Managed Portfolios. Eduardo graduated as an Engineer from PUC-Rio and as an Economist from the University of California, where he was appointed best student in Economics over the previous 15 years. Mauricio Oreng Mauricio Oreng, 36, started his career as a financial-market economist in 2002. He was formerly economist with Unibanco and Western Asset / Legg Mason before arriving at Itau Securities in 2006. In the brokerage firm, he developed the team’s long-term macro model. In different times, he served as specialist in various fields of Brazilian economics (e.g., external sector, activity, inflation, fiscal policy). In Itau Unibanco’s new macro team, he takes care of public finances, focusing on fixed-income clients. Mauricio holds a master degree in Economics from FGV-RJ - EPGE Graduate School of Economics. Rob Philippa Rob Philippa recently joined BTG Pactual in Rio de Janeiro as Head of International Operations. Previous to that, he was owner & principal of New Amsterdam Advisory Services (www.NewAmsterdamAdvisory.com ), an international operations consulting group he established after a 20+ year career with ABN AMRO Bank and The Royal Bank of Scotland. Over the course of his career, Rob has held a variety of senior management functions in New York, San Francisco, Amsterdam and Chicago. He leveraged his industry expertise with the creation of New Amsterdam's international partner network of specialized industry contacts, consultants and contractors in the operations environment. In his current role with BTG Pactual, Rob’s focus is on enhancing the firm’s international clearing and settlements capabilities to support the firm’s rapidly expanding global business activities. Francois Racicot François is the leader of Mercer’s Investment Consulting business in Brazil. He provides consulting advices to Brazilian corporations and Pension Funds on a broad range of issues including investment strategy and elaboration of Investment Policy, performance monitoring, selection of asset manager, risk management and asset-liability modelling. François joined Mercer in 1996. He started his career gaining experience in the Montreal and Sao Paulo retirement practices, and then spent four years working at Mercer’s International department in Paris. He returned to Mercer’s Sao Paulo office in 2008. He holds a B.S. in Actuarial Mathematics from Concordia University in Canada. Fabio Resegue MD / Brazil Equities / Head of Equities Fabio Resegue is a MD in the Equities division for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1997 and has held several positions in trading and sales, from 2003 to 2009 he was based in New York where he was responsible for Latin America Sales trading and Equities Derivatives Sales. Mr Resegue is currently the Head of Equities at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Brazil since April 2009. Mr. Resegue holds a B.A. in Business Management from Fundaçao Armando Alvares Penteado and a Post Graduate Degree in Economics from University of Sao Paulo. Rodrigo Sancovsky Mr. Sancovsky graduated from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-SP) with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Finance and an MBA from INSEAD. He began his professional career in the Investment Banking division at Merrill Lynch, worked as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company, and later as co-manager and equity analyst at Rio Bravo Investimentos. He joined FAMA Investimentos in September 2006, where he is currently a senior equity analyst and one of the joint portfolio managers. He is a partner at FAMA.
