Leila Tschopp
Nasce em Buenos Aires, Argentina, em 1978. Vive e trabalha em Buenos Aires.
Licencia-se em 2002 em ENBAPP, Buenos Aires. Participa em Art Omi, Nova Iorque York,
USA(2015); Programa de Residências para Criadores de Iberoamérica e Haití de FONCA-AECID,
México (2014) e Skowhegan, Maine, USA, com o apoio da Colecção Cisneros (2013). Recebe a bolsa
The Pollock-Krasner Foundation, Nova Iorque, USA (2012); a bolsa Fundo Metropolitano de Buenos
Aires (2012) e a bolsa do Fundo Nacional das Artes, Buenos Aires, Argentina (2008).
Realiza exposições individuais, destacando-se: La Persistencia, Galeria Diagrama, México D.F. (2014);
Diagrama #1: Movimientos Dominantes, CCMHC, Buenos Aires (2013); El Salto, Galeria Transversal,
São Paulo, Brasil (2012); Modelos Ideales, Galeria 713, Buenos Aires (2011). Participa em exposições

Mafalda Santos
Nasce em Porto, Portugal, em 1980.
Licenciada em Pintura na Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto.
Entre 2002 e 2007, foi programadora do espaço PêSSEGOpráSEMANA, no Porto. Expõe
regularmente desde 2001, e em 2007/2008 como bolseira da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian e da
Fundação Luso-Americana para o Desenvolvimento (FLAD) realizou a residência artística Location
One, em Nova Iorque.
Foi seleccionada para o Prémio EDP Novos Artistas 2007.
Actualmente gere, com Manuel Mesquita, o programa de residências artísticas Moinho da Fonte Santa,
no Alandroal.
O seu trabalho encontra-se incluído nas colecções portuguesas de António Cachola, das Fundações
EDP e Ilídio Pinho, Grupo RAR e Fundação PLMJ
Na última década tem participado regularmente em diversas exposições colectivas, entre as quais se

Antonia Gaeta é licenciada em Conservação dos Bens Culturais pela Universidade de Bolonha e
mestre em Estudos Curatoriais pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. É
doutoranda em Arte Contemporânea no Colégio das Artes da Universidade de Coimbra. Desenvolveu
projectos de investigação e exposição com diversas instituições artísticas em Portugal e no
estrangeiro. Foi coordenadora executiva das representações oficiais portuguesas nas Bienais de arte
de Veneza (edições 2009 e 2011) e de São Paulo (edições 2008 e 2010) para a Direcção-Geral das
Artes. Comissariou diversas exposições em Portugal e no estrangeiro e tem textos publicados em
catálogos de arte e programas de exposições. É actualmente curadora adjunta do Pavilhão de Angola
na 56ª Bienal de Veneza.

Mafalda Santos
Born in Oporto in 1980, Portugal. Graduated in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Oporto. Between
2002 and 2007 was the programmer of the space PêSSEGOpráSEMANA, in Porto. Exhibits her work
regularly since 2001, and in 2007/2008 had a scholarship for an artistic residency at Location One, New
York, given by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foudantion and Luso-American Foundation – FLAD. Was
selected for the EDP New Artists Award 2007.
Currently she runs, with Manuel Mesquita, the Moinho da Fonte Santa artistic residency program, in
Alandroal, Portugal.
Her work is included in the Portuguese collections of António Cachola, the EDP Foundation, Ilídio
Pinho Foundation, RAR Group and PLMJ Foundation.
In the last decade she has participated regularly in several group shows, amongst which we can

Antonia Gaeta
Graduated in Cultural Heritage Studies at the University of Bologna and has a Master in Curatorial
Studies by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Has a PhD in Contemporary Art from
Arts College from the University of Coimbra. Developed research and exhibition projects with several
artistic institutions in Portugal and abroad. Was the executive coordinator of the Official Portuguese
Representation at the Venice Biennale (2009 and 2011) and São Paulo (2008 and 2010) for the
Directorate-General for the Arts (DGARTES).
Curated several exhibitions in Portugal and abroad and has published texts in art catalogues and
exhibition programs. Currently she is the deputy curator of the Angola Pavilion at the 56th Venice
Biennale.
