前言
澳門科學館一直致力於推廣科學普及教育，除了通過館內的多媒體展品，為學
生及訪客提供有趣的科學知識及學習環境外，亦會透過互聯網等不同媒介進行
館外的推廣。為讓本澳居民更加注意到身邊的日常科學知識，我館現正舉辦多
媒體創作比賽，鼓勵參賽者在策劃和製作過程中，發掘日常生活中容易被忽略
的科學，並融合其藝術創意。參賽作品除有機會獲得豐富的獎品外，相關作品
更會被採納到澳門科學館有關媒介中作公開使用。

2. 比賽項目
a.「科普教育短片及模型製作」
b.「微電影製作」
3. 參賽形式
a.以團體形式作為創作單位，團體人數上限為五人；
b.每組單位只可遞交一份作品；
c.每位參賽者只能於一個創作單位中報名，確認報名後不得轉到其他單位；
d.「科普教育短片及模型製作」可由兩位指導老師帶領（一位負責科學範疇、
一位負責影片製作），而指導老師可帶領多於一組參賽單位；學生可通過校
方以學校名義或自行組織報名參加（自行組織者可跨校組隊）。
4. 報名及提交作品方式
a.報名表格可於澳門科學館網站（http://www.msc.org.mo/mdc2015/）下載；
b.遞交作品時需註明「拍攝．科學 — 2015澳門科學館多媒體創作比賽」及參加
的比賽項目名稱；
c.參賽影片須存錄於DVD光碟上；
d.作品須遞交至澳門科學館大堂售票處。
5. 參賽資格
a.「科普教育短片及模型製作」：比賽期間在澳門就讀之中學生；
b.「微電影製作」：就讀澳門高等教育機構之學生或凡對本活動有興趣之澳門
特別行政區居民；
為達到公平甄選的目的，所有主辦單位工作人員、比賽評委及其直系親屬均不得
參加此項比賽。凡違反此項的參賽者，主辦單位有權取消其資格並追回獎項。
6. 活動時間及地點
a.解說會將於澳門科學館會議中心舉行，共兩場均為相同內容，分別於2014年
12月3日及4日（星期三及星期四），下午6時30分至7時30分舉行，介紹比賽
主題及要求；
b.「科普教育短片及模型製作」：
收件日期為由2014年12月8日（星期一）至2015年4月26日（星期日）；

c.「微電影製作」分兩階段進行：
第一階段收件日期為由2014年12月8日（星期一）至2015年2月15日（星期日）；
第二階段收件日期為由2015年3月2日（星期一）至4月26日（星期日）。
7. 賽果公佈及頒獎日期
a.「微電影製作」第一階段結果將於2015件3月2日（星期一）公佈；
b.「科普教育短片及模型製作」及「微電影製作」第二階段將於2015年5月4日（
星期一）公佈賽果及於5月9日（星期六）澳門科學館會議中心舉行頒獎典禮。
有關安排容後發佈，而獲獎者將獲邀請出席有關頒獎禮活動（除得獎單位外，
主辦單位不會個別通知其他參賽者有關結果）；
c.「科普教育短片及模型製作」冠、亞、季軍獲獎者之短片及模型，將會在2015
年5月舉行的 「國際博物館日」之澳門科學館攤位中展出，獲獎者將獲邀請出
席活動並為作品作解說。
8. 其他規定
a.作品內容必需健康、不涉及色情、暴力以及和本澳法律相牴觸內容；
b.參賽作品語言不限，但需附上中文、葡文或英文字幕；
c.多媒體內容可以包括攝影、動畫、相片、圖片、電腦制作圖片等，而參賽者必
須要有以上內容之使用權；
d.參賽作品必須是原創、未曾公開發表、未曾獲獎和未被其他機構採用；否則，
參賽者除應個人承擔所有因此引致的法律責任外，主辦單位有權取消參賽者的
資格並追回獎項；
e.參賽者須遵守《個人資料保護法》。尤其是當參賽者需在參賽作品中展示某人
的聲音或影像時，需事先徵得當事人的同意（在公共地方拍攝街景而且並不突
出某人時除外）；
f.參賽者不應在限制拍攝的地方進行拍攝。如確有需要時，應事先徵得業主或管
理人員等的同意；
g.一般情況下，參賽作品不予發還；
h.獲獎作品的著作權及其衍生之收益和權利均屬澳門科學館股份有限公司所有；
i. 獲獎者有義務配合主辦單位的要求對有關作品作進一步的完善或修改。如不希
望修改者，請於參賽表格上註明；
j. 主辦單位有權在毋須另行通知和致酬的情況下，使用參賽作品於比賽有關的宣
傳、推廣及活動上；
k.當報名程序完成後，所有報名者均被視為認同本活動的章程和比賽結果；
l. 參賽作品如被評審視為不達標準，主辦單位會保留獎品頒發之權利。

9. 獎項
a.每項比賽均設冠、亞、季軍各一名及優異獎各五名；
b.如出現同分情況，獎金將會平分處理；
c.每名參賽者均可獲贈澳門科學館展覽中心及天文館優惠門票各兩張；
d.「科普教育短片及模型製作」的參賽單位若以學校名義參加且得獎組別，所屬
學校同時會獲贈錦旗。
10.評審委員會
a.評審委員會由主辦單位代表及本地相關領域的專家和學者組成；
b.根據評審委員會決定，各獎項可以從缺。
11.獎金的發放
a.獎金將於作品修改或完善後頒發；
b.得獎者需於領獎當日出示證件及提交證件副本以便主辦機構核實及登記身份；
c.獎金以支票形式發放。
12.免責條款
a.任何不符合本章程規定的參賽作品，將不獲評審委員會評審，且主辦單位不會
個別通知有關參賽者；
b.主辦單位不承擔非由其過失所引致之作品損毀、遺失、不完整、不清晰、延遲
或函件未達等情況的責任，也毋須個別通知有關參賽者；
c.主辦單位有權終止比賽、修改章程或取消行為不當參賽者的比賽資格；
d.如有任何爭議，澳門科學館股份有限公司保留最终決定權。如中葡英文的章程
譯本有異，概以中文版本為準。

14.各項比賽規則及格式要求
「科普教育短片及模型製作」
(1) 以「竹棚工藝」為主題的短片及模型製作比賽，介紹竹棚的基本科學原理、歷
史及工藝，並解釋如何將竹棚的基礎技術廣泛應用。
(2) 參賽單位需將影片及模型連同「主題報告」一併遞交到澳門科學館大堂售票處。
(3) 模型規格要求
(a) 模型需以戲棚為主題，並以竹棚的基礎技術運用到模型上；
(b) 模型材料可自由選擇；
(c) 有關的科學原理必須正確及真實；模型的比例需由參賽者根據作品大小來
自行計算，並將比例尺明顯表示於作品當中；
(d) 模型的大小不能超過120 cm（長）x 40 cm（寬）x 60 cm（高）。
(4) 影片規格要求
(a) 有關的科學原理必須正確及真實；
(b) 影片長度限定為5-10分鐘；
(c) 影片拍攝及製作器材並無限制；
(d) 影片解像度須以1024 x 768 或 1280 x 720 pixels或以上，橫縱比為4：3或
16：9，每秒不少於25格；
(e) 參賽單位須先將作品以「.flv」格式提交，若經評審委員會選定為得獎作
品，參賽單位必須再以「.mpeg」、「.avi」或「.mov」格式提交得獎作品。
(5) 比賽資助
排名前15名之最高分數的組別，均可獲得材料資助費用（必須保留單據，實報
實銷），資助金額上限為澳門幣伍佰圓正。
(6) 獎項
(a) 冠軍：現金獎澳門幣7,000圓及獎狀；
(b) 亞軍：現金獎澳門幣4,000圓及獎狀；
(c) 季軍：現金獎澳門幣2,000圓及獎狀；
(d) 優異獎5名：流動硬盤乙台及獎狀。
(7) 評分標準
(a) 主題準確性（25%）；
(b) 模型結構設計及力學應用（比例計算、相對位置）（25%）；
(c) 拍攝技巧及創意性（25%）；
(d) 後期制作（25%）。

「微電影製作」
(1) 以「澳門科學館」為主題的微電影製作比賽
(2) 分兩階段進行評審：第一階段「劇本製作」及第二階段「影片製作」。參賽單
位需在第一階段提交影片的劇本，只有在第一階段勝出的15組參賽單位方可進
入第二階段的比賽；而第二階段需按在第一階段設計之概念製作影片，並將作
品連同「主題報告」一併提交。
(3) 「劇本製作」規格要求
(a) 劇本演出長度為5-10分鐘；
(b) 適合拍攝之原創文字劇本，不接受改編作品；
(c) 未曾公開發表、以及未曾獲得相關獎項的之劇本；
(d) 以A4紙電腦編印１份及將電子檔以PDF檔存錄於CD上，連同報名表一併提
交至澳門科學館大堂售票處。
(4) 「影片製作」規格要求
(a) 作品長度限定為5-10分鐘；
(b) 影片拍攝及製作器材並無限制；
(c) 影片解像度須以1024 x 768 或 1280 x 720 pixel或以上，橫縱比為4：3或
16：9，每秒不少於25格；
(d) 參賽單位須先將作品以「.flv」格式提交，若經評審委員會選定為得獎作
品，參賽單位必須再以「.mpeg」、「.avi」或「.mov」格式提交得獎作品
(e) 參加表格連同「主題報告」、參賽作品親身遞交到澳門科學館大堂售票處。
(5) 獎項
(a) 第一階段入圍者可獲贈microSD卡乙張；
(b) 冠軍：現金獎澳門幣8,000圓及獎狀；
(c) 亞軍：現金獎澳門幣5,000圓及獎狀；
(d) 季軍：現金獎澳門幣3,000圓及獎狀；
(e) 優異獎5名：流動硬盤乙台及獎狀。
(6) 第一階「劇本製作」段評分標準
(a) 主題準確性（40%）；
(b) 文字表現（40%）；
(c) 可演性（20%）。
(7) 第二階「影片製作」段評分標準
(a) 音效設計（25%）；
(b) 拍攝效果（25%）；
(c) 創意性（25%）；
(d) 後期制作（25%）。

Prefácio
O Centro de Ciência de Macau está empenhado em promover
a educação científica, proporcionando conhecimento científico
variado através de expositores interactivos. De forma a desenvolver
a criatividade, o nosso Centro vai realizar uma nova edição do
concurso de multimédia para todos os residentes de Macau. Para
além da oportunidade de receber prémios, os vencedores poderão
ter a oportunidade de ver os seus trabalhos utilizados nos nossos
expositores ou media.

a. “Vídeo de Educação Científica e Produção de um Modelo”
b. “Produção de uma Curta”
3. Condições de Inscrição
a. Cada trabalho pode ser submetido por um grupo até 5 membros;
b. Cada equipa só pode submeter um trabalho;
c. Cada participante só pode fazer parte de um grupo e não pode mudar de grupo
depois do trabalho entregue;
d. O “Vídeo de Educação Científica e Construção de um Modelo” pode ser orientado
por dois professores e estes podem orientar mais de um grupo (um dos professores
para orientar o conteúdo científico e o outro para a parte de produção do vídeo). Os
professores não contam como elementos da equipa. O trabalho pode ser submetido
com o apoio da Escola, ou como grupo independente, em que os membros da
equipa estudam em escolas variadas.
4. Entrega da Ficha de Inscrição
a. A ficha de inscrição pode ser descarregada através da página de internet do Centro
de Ciência de Macau http://www.msc.org.mo/mdc2015/;
b. A ficha de inscrição e o trabalho deverão ser entregues num envelope fechado,
identificado apenas com “Concurso de Multimédia do Centro de Ciência de Macau
2015” e o nome do evento;
c. Os participantes deverão entregar o trabalho em DVDs;
d. Os participantes deverão entregar o trabalho na Bilheteira do Centro de Ciência de
Macau.
5.Elegibilidade
a. “Vídeo de Educação Científica e Construção de um Modelo”: para todos os alunos do
3° ciclo e secundário que estudem em Macau;
b. “Produção de uma Curta”: para todos os alunos que estudem em instituições de
ensino superior em Macau ou para todos os residentes de Macau;
De modo a evitar conflitos de interesse, os familiares directos da entidade
organizadora e júris não poderão participar no concurso. A Entidade Organizadora
reserva-se o direito de retirar o prémio a participantes que sejam desqualificados.

6. Calendarização e Local
a. Reuniões de esclarecimento: os participantes podem assistir a uma das reuniões
programadas para esclarecimentos sobre o concurso, a 3 ou a 4 de Dezembro de
2014, das 18:30 às 19:30;
b. “Vídeo de Educação Científica e Construção de um Modelo”: o período de entrega
será de 8 de Dezembro de 2014 a 26 de Abril de 2015;
c. “Produção de uma Curta”: o período de entrega do argumento será de 8 de Dezembro
de 2014 a 15 de Fevereiro de 2015; o período de entrega do vídeo será de 2 de Março
de 2015 a 26 de Abril de 2015.
7. Cerimónia de Entrega de Prémios
a. O resultado da primeira etapa da “Produção de uma Curta” será anunciado a 2 de
Março de 2015;
b. Os resultados do evento “Vídeo de Educação Científica e Construção de um Modelo”
e da segunda etapa da “Produção de uma Curta” serão anunciados a 4 de Maio de
2015. A Cerimónia de Entrega de Prémios terá lugar a 9 de Maio de 2015 no Centro
de Ciência de Macau. Os resultados serão colocados na página de internet do Centro
de Ciência de Macau. As equipas vencedoras serão convidadas a comparecer, e só
estas serão contactadas individualmente pela Entidade Organizadora.
c. Os vídeos e modelos vencedores dos 1°, 2° e 3° Lugares do “Video de Educação
Científica e Construção de um Modelo” serão exibidos no quiosque do Centro de
Ciência de Macau durante o “Dia Internacional de Museus” organizado em Maio de
2015. Os vencedores serão convidados a participarem no evento e de apresentarem
os seus trabalhos ao público.
8. Outros requisitos
a. O trabalho não pode conter pornografia ou violência e não deve infringir a lei;
b. O trabalho pode ser entregue em qualquer idioma; no entanto deve incluir
legendagem em chinês, português ou inglês;
c. Os trabalhos podem incluir fotografias, animações, imagens, etc., mas os participantes
têm de possuir o direito à utilização das mesmas;
d. Os trabalhos entregues deverão ser criações originais dos participantes e nunca antes
ter sido publicados, galardoados ou utilizados por outras instituições; caso contrário,
para além da responsabilidade legal dos participantes, a Entidade Organizadora
reserva-se o direito de retirar o prémio ao participante desqualificado;

e. No que concerne à Lei de Protecção de Dados, pressupõe-se que as pessoas que
aparecem em pano de fundo nas filmagens efecutadas em áreas públicas, deram o
seu consentimento. Contudo, se o participante quiser que alguém participe no filme,
terá de obter a sua autorização verbal;
f. Os participantes apenas podem filmar em áreas privadas mediante autorização do
proprietário ou gerente do espaço;
g. Os participantes deverão guardar a sua própria cópia do trabalho, pois os trabalhos
entregues não serão devolvidos;
h. Os direitos de autor e outros direitos serão transferidos para o Centro de Ciência de
Macau S.A. aquando a entrega de um prémio a um trabalho;
i. Os participantes têm a obrigação de modificar os seus trabalhos, se assim for
solicitado pela Entidade Organizadora. Se os participantes não quiserem modificar
os seus trabalhos deverão declará-lo na Ficha de Inscrição;
j. A Entidade Organizadora poderá utilizar todos os trabalhos entregues para fins
promocionais e actividades relacionadas, sem qualquer pagamento ou notificação
prévia aos participantes;
k. Todos os participantes deverão cumprir o regulamento e aceitar o resultado do
concurso, uma vez completo o procedimento de submissão da inscrição;
l.
A Entidade Organizadora reserve-se o direito de não atribuir alguns prémios, caso os
trabalhos não atinjam o padrão desejado.
9.Prémios
a. Para cada um dos eventos serão atribuídos um 1° lugar, um 2° lugar, um 3° lugar e
cinco prémios de consolação;
b. Se houver mais do que uma equipa com a mesma pontuação, o prémio monetário
será dividido entre as equipas;
c. Cada participante receberá dois bilhetes com desconto para o Centro de Exibições e
dois bilhetes com desconto para o Planetário do Centro de Ciência de Macau;
d. Para o “Vídeo de Educação Científica e Construção de um Modelo”, as equipas
vencedoras com apoio da sua escola, também receberão uma faixa para a escola.
10. Painel de Adjudicação
a. O painel de adjudicação será constituído por profissionais e intelectuais locais,
juntamente com representantes da Entidade Organizadora;
b. Dependendo da decisão do painel de adjudicação, alguns prémios poderão não ser
atribuídos.

11. Pagamento do Prémio Monetário
a. Todos os troféus serão entregues às equipas vencedoras durante a Cerimónia de
Entrega de Prémios; os prémios monetários serão entregues depois de terminadas
as modificações solicitadas pela Entidade Organizadora;
b. Os membros das equipas vencedoras deverão apresentar o seu BIR e respectiva
cópia para identificação, aquando a recepção do prémio monetário;
c. O prémio monetário será entregue em cheque.
12. Desqualificações
a. Todos os trabalhos entregues que não cumpram as regras estabelecidas neste
regulamento não serão submetidos à apreciação do painel de adjudicação. A
Entidade Organizadora não terá a incumbência de informar cada participante
individualmente;
b. A Entidade Organizadora não é responsável por quaisquer danos, perdas,
imperfeições, ilegibilidades, atrasos e trocas de quaisquer trabalhos entregues, que
não sejam da sua responsabilidade, e não é obrigada a dar conhecimento de tais
ocorrências aos participantes;
c. A Entidade Organizadora pode cancelar, pôr termo, modificar ou suspender o
concurso e desqualificar qualquer participante por conduta imprópria;
d. Em caso de contestação, o Centro de Ciência de Macau, S.A. reserva-se o direito de
decisão final. A versão chinesa prevalecerá sobre as versões portuguesa e inglesa,
em qualquer caso de inconsistência.

14. Eventos e Requisitos
O “Vídeo de Educação Científica e Construção de um Modelo”
(1) O tema deverá estar relacionado com a “Arte de Armação de Andaimes de Bambú”,
introduzindo os princípios básicos da armação de andaimes de bambú, a sua história e
ofício, além de explicar como os princípios simples podem ser utilizados para construir
andaimes em variadas situações.
(2) Os participantes devem entregar na Bilheteira do Centro de Ciência de Macau o seu vídeo
e modelo juntamente com o Relatório Temático.
(3) Requisitos para o Modelo
(a) Para o modelo devem ser aplicados os princípios básicos de armação de andaimes de
bambú para a ópera chinesa.
(b) Os participantes podem escolher quaisquer materiais para a construção do modelo;
(c) Os princípios científicos deve ser reais e exactos; os participantes devem calcular a
escala e identificá-la com clareza no modelo;
(d) O tamanho do modelo não deve ser maior do que 120 cm (comprimento) x 40 cm
(largura) x 60 cm (altura).
(4) Requisitos para o vídeo
(a) Os princípios científicos e a demonstração experimental têm de ser reais e precisas;
(b) A duração do vídeo deve ser entre 5 e 10 minutos;
(c) O vídeo pode ser filmado e produzido com qualquer equipamento de filmagem;
(d) A resolução do vídeo deve ser, no mínimo, 1024 x 768 píxeis ou 1280 x 720 píxeis,
e o tamanho do ecrã deve ser 4:3 ou 16:9, com um mínimo de 25 fotogramas por
segundo;
(e) No princípio, os participantes devem entregar os seus trabalhos no formato “.flv”.
Os participantes dos trabalhos vencedores terão de submeter, posteriormente, os
trabalhos no formato “.mpeg”, “.avi” ou “.mov”.
(5)Financiamento
Os 15 trabalhos entregues com as classificações mais elevadas serão elegíveis a
financiamento do custo do material utilizado para a construção dos seus modelos
(devem guardar os recibos para o reembolso). O limite de financiamento para cada grupo
é de 500MOP.
(6)Prémios
(a) 1° lugar: Prémio monetário de MOP 7,000 e certificado;
(b) 2° lugar: Prémio monetário de MOP 4,000 e certificado;
(c) 3° lugar: Prémio monetário de MOP 2,000 e certificado;
(d) 5 prémios de consolação: disco rígidos externos e certificado.
(7) Critérios de Avaliação
(a) Exactidão do Tema (25%);
(b) Design da estrutura do modelo e aplicação mecânica (rácio de cálculo e posição
relativa)(25%);
(c) Técnica de Filmagem e Criatividade (25%);
(d) Pós-Produção (25%).

A “Produção de uma Curta”
(1) O tema deve estar relacionado com o Centro de Ciência de Macau.
(2) A selecção será efectuada em duas fases: o “Argumento” e a “Produção do Vídeo”. Na
primeira fase, os participantes têm de entregar o seu argumento à Entidade Organizadora.
Os 15 trabalhos com pontuação mais elevada serão admitidos à segunda fase. Na
segunda fase, os participantes realizam a filmagem baseada no argumento apresentado
na primeira fase. Os participantes devem entregar o Relatório Temático, juntamento com
o video.
(3) Requisitos para o “Argumento”
(a) A duração da actuação deve ser de 5 a 10 minutos;
(b) O argumento deve ser uma criação original dos participantes;
(c) O argumento nunca poderá ter sido publicado, premiado ou utilizado por outras
instituições;
(d) Os participantes devem entregar o argumento em papel A4, juntamente com um CD
com o argumento em formato PDF e a ficha de inscrição.
(4) Requisitos para a “Produção do Vídeo”
(a) A duração do vídeo deve ser entre 5 e 10 minutos;
(b) O vídeo pode ser filmado e produzido com qualquer equipamento de filmagem;
(c) A resolução do vídeo deve ser, no mínimo, 1024 x 768 píxeis ou 1280 x 720 píxeis,
e o tamanho do ecrã deve ser 4:3 ou 16:9, com um mínimo de 25 fotogramas por
segundo;
(d) Os participantes devem entregar os seus trabalhos no formato “.flv”. Os participantes
dos trabalhos vencedores terão de submeter, posteriormente, os trabalhos nos
formatos “.mpeg”, “.avi” ou “.mov”.
(5)Prémios
(a) Na primeira fase, os quinze trabalhos inscritos com a pontuação mais elevada
receberão um cartão microSD;
(b) 1° lugar: Prémio monetário de MOP 8,000 e certificado;
(c) 2° lugar: Prémio monetário de MOP 5,000 e certificado;

Preface
Macao Science Center is committed in popularizing science and
education through the multimedia exhibits to provide students and
visitors with interesting science knowledge. In order to encourage
their creativity as well as enriching their knowledge in science, we are
organizing the multimedia design contest open to all Macao residents.
In addition to the opportunity to win the awards, the winning entries
may also be used in our exhibits and media.

3. Terms of Entry
a. Entry should be submitted through a team up to five members;
b. Each team should submit only one entry;
c. Each participant is not allowed to take part in more than one group, and is not allowed to
transfer to another group once the submission is confirmed;
d. The “Science Education Video and Model Making” can be guided by two teachers and they
can participate in more than one group (one to mentor the science content and the other for
the video production). The teachers do not count as members of the team. The entry can be
submitted with the support of the school, or as a self-organized group (with members of the
group studying in different schools).
4. Submission of Entry Form
a. Entry form can be downloaded from the Macao Science Center official website
http://www.msc.org.mo/mdc2015/;
b. When submitting the entry, the cover of the envelope should have written “2015 Macao
Science Center Multimedia Design Contest” and the name of the participating event;
c. Participants should submit their entries in DVDs;
d. Participants should submit their entry to Macao Science Center, Ticketing Office.
5. Eligibility
a. “Science Education Video and Model Making”: for all secondary students studying in Macao
b. “Short Film Production”: for all students studying in institution of higher education in Macao or
all Macao residents;
To avoid any conflict of interest, immediate relatives of staff of the organizer and adjudicators
are not eligible to participate in the contest. The Organizer has the right to take back the
awards of any disqualified participant.
6. Schedule and Location
a. Briefing: Participants can join one of the two briefings on either 3 Dec 2014 (Wednesday) or
4 Dec 2014 (Thursday) from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm for understanding the requirements of the
contest;
b. The “Science Education Video and Model Making” : the submission period for the video will be
from 8 Dec 2014 (Monday) to 26 Apr 2015 (Sunday);

c. The “Short Film Production”: the submission period for the script will be from 8 Dec 2014 (Monday)
to 15 Feb 2015 (Sunday); the submission date for the video will be from 2 Mar 2015 (Monday) to
26 Apr 2015 (Sunday).
7. Award Announcement Ceremony
a. The result of the first stage for “Short Film Production” will be announced in 2 Mar 2015 (Monday);
b. The result of “Science Education Video and Model Making” and the second stage of “Short
Film Production” will be announced in 4 May 2015. The Award Announcement Ceremony will
be held in 9 May 2015 at Macao Science Center. Results will be announced in Macao Science
Center website. The winning teams will be invited to attend the ceremony, and only they will be
individually contacted by the Organizer;
c. The winning videos and models of the first, second and third runner-up of the “Science Education
Video and Model Making” will be presented in the booth of Macao Science Center during the
“International Museum Day” held in May 2015. Winners will be invited to attend the event and
introduce their entries to the public.
8. Other Requirements
a. The program must not contain any pornography or violence and should not infringe any law;
b. Entry is not limited to any languages; however it must include Chinese, Portuguese or English subtitles;
c. Entry can include picture, animation, images, etc., but participants must own the right to use them;
d. Each entry submitted must be the participants’ original creation that has never been published,
awarded or adopted for using by other institutions; otherwise apart from the potential legal
responsibility of the participants the Organizer has the right to take back the award of any
disqualified participant;
e. Regarding the Personal Data Protection, filming in public area is considered that people have
given their implied consent to be filmed as background, however if you want someone to take
part on the film, you should get a verbal authorization from them;
f. Participants can only film in private areas with permission from the owner or management personnel;
g. Participants should keep their own backup copy of the entries as submitted entries will not be returned;
h. The copyright and other rights of the entries will be transferred to the Macao Science Center
Limited once an award is given;
i. The participant has the obligation to modify the entries if requested by the Organizer. If any
participant does not wish their entries to be modified, they must declare it in the Entry Form;
j. The Organizer can use all submitted entries for promotional purposes and activities related with
the competition without paying or notifying the participants;
k. All participants are deemed to abide by the regulations and accept the results of the competition
once they completed the submission procedures;
l. The Organizer reserves the right not to award some of prizes if the entries do not meet the desired
standard.
9. Awards
a. There will be one 1st prize, one 2nd prize, one 3rd prize and five consolation prizes for each event;
b. If there are teams scoring the same marks, cash award will be divided between the teams;

c. Each participant will receive two concessionary tickets for the Exhibition Center and two
concessionary tickets for the Planetarium in the Macao Science Center;
d. For the “Science Education Video and Model Making”, the awarded teams supported by their
schools will also receive a banner for the school.
10. Adjudication Panel
a. The adjudication panel will comprise of professionals and scholars in Macao together with
representatives of the Organizer;
b. Subject to the decision of the adjudication panel, some Awards may not be given out.
11. Payment for Cash Award
a. All prizes will be given to the winning teams during the Award Ceremony, cash will be given
after modifying the entries requested by the Organizer;
b. Winning team members should present their IDs and copies for identification purpose when
receiving their award;
c. Cash award will be given in the form of a check.
12.Disclaimers
a. All submitted entries that fail to comply with the rules set out in these regulations will not be
assessed by the adjudication panel. The Organizer will not individually inform the participant;
b. The Organizer will not be responsible for any damage, lost, incompleteness, illegibility, delay
and misplacement of any submissions that is not caused by the Organizer, and the Organizer
will not individually inform the participant of such problems;
c. The Organizer may at its discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition and
disqualify any participant for misconduct;
d. In the event of any disputes, Macao Science Center Limited reserves the right of final decision.
The Chinese version of the regulation shall prevail over the Portuguese and English versions in
the event of any inconsistency.

14. Events and Requirements
The “Science Education Video and Model Making”
(1) The theme should be related to “Art and Crafts of Bamboo Scaffolds”, introduce the basic
principles of bamboo scaffolding, its history and craftworks, and explain how the simple
principles could be applied to build scaffolds under various types of situations.
(2) Participants should submit their video and model along with the Thematic Report to
Macao Science Center, Ticketing Office.
(3) Requirements of the Model
(a) The model should be related to the scaffold for the Chinese opera, and apply the basic
principles of bamboo scaffolding to the model;
(b) Participants are free to choose the materials used for the model;
(c) The scientific principles must be real and accurate; participants should calculate the
scale of the model, and the scale should be indicated clearly on it;
(d) The size of the model should not exceed 120 cm (length) x 40 cm (width) x 60 cm (high).
(4) Requirements of the Video
(a) The scientific principles and the experimental demonstration must be real and
accurate;
(b) The duration of the video of the entry should be 5 to 10 minutes;
(c) There is no restriction to the equipments for filming and production;
(d) The resolution of the video should be at least 1024 x 768 pixels or 1280 x 720 pixels, and
the size of the screen should be 4:3 or 16:9 with not less than 25 frames per second;
(e) Participants are required to submit their entries in “flv.” format first. Once they are
selected as the winning entries, the winning participants must submit them in “.mpeg.”,
“.avi” or “.mov” format.
(5)Funding
The 15 entries with the highest scores will be eligible for the funding of the material cost for
their models (must retain receipts for the reimbursement). The limit of the funding for each
group will be MOP 500.
(6)Awards
(a) 1st prize: Cash award of MOP 7,000 and certificate;
(b) 2nd prize: Cash award of MOP 4,000 and certificate;
(c) 3rd prize: Cash award of MOP 2,000 and certificate;
(d) 5 Consolation prizes: portable external hard drives and certification.
(7) Selection of the Winning Entries
(a) Accuracy of Theme (25%);
(b) Model structure design and mechanical application (ratio calculation and relative
position)(25%);
(c) Filming Techniques and creativity (25%);
(d) Post-Production (25%).

The “Short Film Production”
(1) The theme should be related to Macao Science Center.
(2) The selection will be conducted in two stages: the “Script Production” and the “Film
Production”. In the first stage, participants are required to submit their script to the
Organizer. The 15 entries with the highest scores will enter the second stage. In the second
stage, participants should film a video based on the script submitted in the first stage.
Participants are required to submit their entries along with the Thematic Report.
(3) Requirements for the “Script Production”
(a) The duration of the performance should be 5 to 10 minutes;
(b) The script submitted must be the participants’ original creation;
(c) The script should never have been published, awarded or adopted for use by other
institutions;
(d) Participants should submit a hard copy of the script in A4 size paper, together with a
soft copy in PDF format in a CD and the entry form.
(4) Requirements for the “Film Production”
(a) The duration of the video of the entry should be 5 to 10 minutes;
(b) The is no restriction to the equipments for filming and production;
(c) The resolution of the video should be at least 1024 x 768 pixels or 1280 x 720 pixels, and
the size of the screen should be 4:3 or 16:9 with not less than 25 frames per second;
(d) Participants are required to submit their entries in “flv.” format first. Once they are
selected as the winning entries, the winning participants must submit them in “.mpeg.”,
