June 26th to 29th - 2013
Hospital Moinhos de Vento - Porto Alegre - Brazil
The use of implants has become routine in many dental treatments. Some specific
clinical situations, however, require complex surgical techniques.
We have designed this practical course to enable participants to improve their
surgical expertise so as to treat advanced and complex surgical implant cases.
In order to reach this goal, participants will be directly involved in designing a
treatment plan and performing operations on a patient.
The procedures studied include: guided tissue regeneration (GBR), sinus lift using
the lateral or crestal approach, onlay block bone grafts, connective tissue grafts,
post-extraction implant placement, intraoral bone harvesting.
The course is designed for a strictly limited number of participants so that each
individual can receive personal attention from the two lecturers and advise and
monitoring may be guaranteed throught the course and specially during surgeries.
There is no better way to improve your surgical confidence than through an intense
practical training period. Through an intensive program of surgeries each
participant will understand what the correct surgical approach should be for most of
the advanced and complex implant cases.

cases were excellent, complete from a didactical point of view, and
beautifully presented . Thanks for the availability and effectivenes of
your advices.”
PL. Barra (Rome, Italy)
“What excited me is the great selection of the cases that was put
together. 25 surgeries one more complex than the other with nice preop pictures, casts and x-rays including CT scans. Great job! I can

M. Muroni (Marino, Italy)
“Excelent both from an organization and didactic point of view. One of
the most interesting courses I attended.”
