INTRODUCTION INSTITUTO ESCOLA SÃO PAULO is an independent and non-for profit organization created in 2003 whose goal is to promote education through culture in Brazil. It is a cultural center dedicated to the reflection, studies, research and production of contemporary art. The school has been designed to offer education through art to the Brazilian general public. It has been acknowledged as an innovation in Brazil’s educational system by Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Classes, lectures and workshops may be considered its main activities.
