Companhia de Teatro de Braga
A Companhia de Teatro de Braga é uma estrutura profissional de
produção teatral. Foi fundada em 1980 no Porto e está radicada em
Braga (Norte de Portugal) desde 1984, no âmbito de um protocolo
estabelecido com a autarquia dessa cidade.
Rui Madeira é um dos fundadores da companhia. Actor, encenador, e
Administrador-delegado da mesma, já dirigiu mais de uma vintena de
peças de autores portugueses e estrangeiros. Participou na organização
do primeiro FITEI (Festival Internacional de Teatro de Expressão Ibérica)
e esteve envolvido, em 1983/1984 num movimento de descentralização
teatral. É membro do conselho de administração da associação
internacional “Villes et Cinemas en Europe” e membro da direcção da
“Cena Lusófona – Associação Portuguesa para o Intercâmbio Teatral
entre os países de expressão oficial portuguesa”.

La Compagnie de Théâtre de Braga est une structure professionnelle de
production théâtrale. Elle a été fondée en 1980 à Porto et est basée à
Braga (Nord du Portugal) depuis 1984, au terme d´un protocole conclu
avec la municipalité de cette ville.
Rui Madeira est l´un des fondateurs de la Compagnie, acteur, metteur
en scène, et administrateur-délégué, il a déjà dirigé une vingtaine de
pièces d´auteurs portugais et étrangers. Il a participé á l´organisation du
premier FITEI (Festival International de Théâtre d´Expression Ibérique)
et fut impliqué, en 1983-1984, dans un mouvement de décentralisation
théâtrale. Il est membre du Conseil d´Administration de l´association
internationale “Villes et Cinemas en Europe” et membre de la direction
de “Cena Lusófona – Association Portugaise d´Echange Téâtral entre les
pays de langue officielle portugaise”.

The Companhia de Teatro de Braga is a professional structure of theatre

Rui Madeira is one of the founders of the company. Actor, stage director,
and Delegate- Administrator of the company, he was in charge of over
twenty plays by Portuguese and foreign authors. He participated in the

quadrados e um casaco de lã
castanho. A seus pés uma mala.
Olha em frente.
No banco do meio está sentada
Michelle, trinta anos. Michelle usa
um vestido simples e claro. A seus
pés, uma mala. Olha em frente.
No banco da direita está sentado
Vincent. Mais ou menos trinta e
cinco anos. Veste um fato azul
marinho e uma camisa branca sem
gravata. A seus pés uma mala.
Olha em frente. É o mais nervoso.
Olha regularmente para o relógio”.
Numa estação, três pessoas
esperam um combóio que está
atrasado. Não se conhecem. É de
noite, está calor, e a rapariga é,
antes de mais, bela.
Os dois homens temem pelo seu
futuro.
Sur le banc de gauche, est assis

Sur le banc de droite, est assis
Vincent. Plus ou moins trente-cinq
ans. Il porte un costume bleu
marine et une chemise blanche
sans cravate. A ses pieds, une
valise. Il regarde devant lui. C’est
le plus nerveux. Il regarde
régulièrement l´horloge.
Dans une gare, trois personnes
attendent un train qui est en
retard. Ils ne se connaissent pas.
C´est la nuit. Il fait chaud. Et la
jeune femme, surtout, est belle.
Les deux hommes craignent pour
son avenir.

In a station, three people wait for
a train that is running late. They
don’t know each other. It is night,
it is hot, and the girl is, most of
all, beautiful.
The two men fear for their future.
