‰ Training the professionals from the Environment Secretary of Sao Paulo
City Hall.
‰ Meeting with the Environment Secretary of Sao Paulo City Hall to discuss
the revision of the suppliers list of the municipality to include products with
low environment impact to stimulate the green building practices and
products in the Government projects of retrofit or new construction.
‰ Rio de Janeiro City Hall: cooperation to write the new biding criteria model
to adjust the retrofit of the Environment Secretary of Rio de Janeiro City
Hall according to the LEED Certification.
‰ Meeting with the Environment Secretary of Belo Horizonte City Hall:
cooperation in professional education and development of projects of law to
incentives the green building practices in the public and private buildings.
‰ Coelba (Energy Utility Company of State of Bahia): cooperation in the
professional education with focus on energy efficiency.
‰ Several contacts aiming convince the Government and the Energy Utilities
Companies about the importance to accelerate the civil construction
industry transformation.
Government Relationship
‰ Cooperation and contribution to develop a retrofit project of a public school
according to the LEED School criteria.
‰ Support the Legislative Board of municipalities to develop projects of law to
incorporate the green building practices in the municipal laws (Sao Paulo,
SP, Vitoria, ES, and Campos de Jordao, SP).
‰ INMETRO and ELETROBRAS (Government Agencies): support in the
development and operation of the Educational Program in the Brazilian
Government Initiative of Energy Efficient Certification of buildings.
‰ Cooperation with the Brazilian Olympic Committee in the definition of the
sustainable criteria which will guide the Olympic Games of 2016.
‰ Educational Secretary of Rio de Janeiro City Hall: support to review the
biding criteria of public School to insert the practices necessary to build a
School certified by LEED SC.
Government Relationship
‰ Housing Secretary of Sao Paulo City Hall: cooperation in projects to
promote and implement green building practices in the popular dwelling
projects. Ex: white roof, solar heating, etc...
‰ Environment Secretary of Sao Paulo City Hall: the Secretary is supporting
the Green Building Practices Book of GBC Brasil / the Secretary is studying
the possibility of certify LEED its new headquarter in Sao Paulo downtown.
‰ Development of a special investment fund for green building.
‰ Development of a project to stimulate the green building movement in
northeast of Brazil.
‰ National Park of Itatiaia: participation in a developed project to transform
the National Park of Itatiaia in a model in terms of sustainable education as
well as to preserve a big area of native florest.
