The Universo da Aquarela 2012 Journey, in its seventh annual exposition edition, ponctuates the objectives of
its previous events. We continue the effort to bring important information about watercolor techniques to artists that are
beginners, professionals, educators and the art lovers in general. Since its first edition the major emphasis is to share
knowledge, add ethics, value, and promote the art of watercolor through our program. The diversity of themes and
techniques add a great experience to artists in general.

best 2(two) for the show. The original art work must have
the paper size: minimum of 20cm X 25cm and maximum
of 35cm X 45cm. Pure watercolor techniques with colors
over paper.
Important Dates to Be Remembered:
1. Application : July 30th. 2012 final date.
2. Application Fee: US $ 220

3. PREMIACIÓN: Prizes: Virtual Show, Gold, Silver, Bronze
and Honorable Mention.
The Watercolors will be judged by a panel of three renowned
Artists of Fine Arts. The artist have the option to not
participate in the prizes Selection.

A. 3 (three) photos of watercolors with the technical
B. Resume / Curriculum Vitae up to 20 (twenty ) lines, on one
sheet of paper A4, Arial font size 12.
C. Bank Receipt fee with the application complete.
5. After the Jury Selection, we will inform which watercolor
should be send to Universo da Aquarela.
A. The watercolor should be mailed protected with card board,
or similar care to avoid bending during the transport.
B. The watercolors should be posted until the date of
application, september 20, 2012 to:

6. Universo da Aquarela will not be responsible for theft
during the set up of the show. It will be responsibility of
the artist to secure the art work.
7. The artist authorize the use and promotion total or partial
of the images and information related to the art work,
without any onus to the Organization of the event.

Curator recommendations:
When producing your art work, try to make in a series
of five(5) utilizing colors.
• When sending the three art work, have in mind the
best quality that have the same language, size, subject,
all on the vertical or horizontal that have close dates of
execution.
• Have short titles, they are more attractive and call
the attention to the painting.
These are important criterion to influence in a positive
way the unity and poetry of the artist. GOOD LUCK!
