The website is the central source of information on the project,

METHODOLOGY:
The Project Database includes over 1,000 papers connected to the field
of Synthetic Biology published since 1990. The papers are organised into
four main categories – in vivo engineering, in vitro engineering, theoretical
research and enabling infrastructure. These categories are then further
broken down into detailed components.
The abstracts of the papers are fully searchable, and a link to the homepage
of each of the authors in the Database is provided.
