FP7ENV-2013WATER-INNO-DEMO, financed by the 7th Framework Programme under the following conditions: Job description: The research work under this fellowship will include: 1) Batch bioremediation studies; 2) Column bioremediation experiments; 3) Use of analytical techniques to monitor bacterial activity and the performance of the bioremediation processes under development; 4) Molecular identification of the bioremediator consortia; 5) Support in the demonstration phase of the project; 6) Writing scientific reports and papers. Scientific Orientation: Professor Maria Clara Costa, Auxiliary Professor at Algarve University, and Principal Researcher of the Environmental Technologies group at CCMAR. PhD in Bioengineering, Environment Engineering, Chemical Environment Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related fields; 2. Very good level of English (spoken and written). Evaluation Criteria: 1. Grant Conditions: The appointment will be full-time and be initially for 06 months, starting on October of 2014, and can be renewed for up the end of CCMAR’s participation in the project (a total maximum period of 23 month).
