Normas do Programa de Educação de Alunos Internacionais
Com vistas à saúde, bem-estar e sucesso acadêmico do aluno, as seguintes normas devem ser obedecidas.
O aluno deve:
1. Obedecer as leis do Canadá.
2. Não consumir bebidas alcoólicas ou usar drogas ou medicamentos sem receita médica.
3. Não dirigir nenhum veículo que não seja seu. Apenas alunos com 19 anos de idade têm permissão para possuir um
carro, com autorização por escrito do Diretor do Distrito - Educação Internacional.
4. Abster-se de relações sexuais.
5. Obter permissão por escrito dos funcionários do Programa para viagens para passar a noite fora de Nanaimo. Apenas
alunos com 19 anos de idade estão isentos desta norma estrita.
6. Obedecer as normas escolares, obedecer aos professores, freqüentar as aulas diariamente, a não ser que esteja
doente.
7. Manter a média de no mínimo 60% nos estudos.
8. Demonstrar respeito pela família hospedeira e obedecer as regras e normas da casa e caso haja algum dano o/a
estudante terá que arcar com o prejuíjo.
9. Deixar o Canadá, o mais tardar, em 1º de julho, a não ser que tenha combinado por conta própria com a família para
prorrogar a acomodação para uma partida mais tarde. A assinatura abaixo indica que os pais isentam o School District
68 (Nanaimo-Ladysmith), assim como seus funcionários, de toda e qualquer responsabilidade pelo aluno após 1º de
julho, até a chegada em Nanaimo no final de agosto e o retorno para acomodação com a família durante o novo ano
letivo.
A infração de qualquer uma das normas acima pode resultar na eliminação do aluno do Programa de Educação de
Alunos Internacionais, com retorno imediato ao país natal às custas do aluno e notificação à Imigração do
Canadá.

A Taxa de Processamento da Inscrição não é reembolsável.
Todos os pedidos de reembolso devem ser por escrito.
O reembolso total de todas as taxas, exceto a Taxa de Processamento da Inscrição somente será paga se a
Permissão de Estudos for recusada pela Imigração do Canadá. A fim de receber este reembolso, O aluno deve
submeter a carta de rejeição das autoridades de Imigração do Canadá ao Distrito Escolar como prova da recusa.
O reembolso total da taxa do curso será paga, menos uma taxa de administração de $500, se o aluno cancelar sua
inscrição antes do início do programa.
O reembolso de 50% da taxa do curso será paga se o aluno sair do curso antes do final do primeiro mês do programa.
Nenhum reembolso será pago se o aluno completar o primeiro mês de estudos.
Nenhum reembolso da taxa escolar será pago se o aluno for eliminado do Programa devido à violação das normas do
Programa de Educação de Alunos Internacionais estipuladas acima.
Nenhum reembolso será pago se o aluno não tiver sucesso em duas acomodações com famílias, devido a problemas
sérios de comportamento e, como conseqüência, for expulso do Programa.
O Depósito da Taxa Escolar pago pelo aluno que estiver retornando para o ano letivo seguinte não é reembolsável.
O reembolso total da taxa escolar será pago, menos uma taxa de administração de $500, se a condição de imigração
do aluno mudar depois que a Carta Oficial de Aceitação tiver sido emitida, porém antes de 30 de setembro do ano no
qual a taxa escolar tenha sido paga.
Nenhum reembolso será pago se a condição de imigração do aluno mudar depois de 30 de setembro no ano em que
a taxa escolar tenha sido paga.
Caso o estudante desista ou seja desligado do programa ISE e não complete o mesmo, o saldo referente as despesas
com acomodação será reembolsado mediante solicitação.
As leis da Província de British Columbia aplicam-se.

International Student Education Program Rules
For the health, welfare, and academic success of the student, the following rules are to be obeyed.
The student must:
1. abide by the laws of Canada.
2. not drink alcoholic beverages or use drugs or medications unless prescribed by a doctor.
3. not drive any motor vehicle other than his/her own. Only students 19 years of age are permitted to own a car, with
written permission from the District Principal--International Education.
4. abstain from sexual intercourse.
5. obtain written permission from ISE Program staff for overnight trips outside of Nanaimo. Only students 19 years of
age are exempt from this strict rule.
6. abide by school rules, obey teachers, attend school daily unless ill.
7. maintain at least a 60% average in studies.
8. show respect for the host family, abide by homestay rules, and pay for any damage that s/he incurs in the home.
9. depart from Canada on July 1 at the latest, unless private arrangements have been made for homestay
accommodation for a later July departure. The signature below indicates that the natural parent absolves School
District 68 (Nanaimo-Ladysmith) and its employees of all responsibility for the student after July 1 until the
student's late August arrival in Nanaimo and return to the homestay for the new school year.
Infractions of any of the above rules may result in dismissal from the International Student Education Program,
immediate return to the home country at the expense of the student, and notification to Immigration Canada.

The Application Processing Fee is non-refundable.
All requests for refunds must be in writing.
A full refund of all fees except the Application Processing Fee will be paid only if a Study Permit is refused by
Immigration Canada. In order to receive this refund, the student must submit to the School District a letter of rejection
from Immigration Canada authorities as proof of the refusal.
A full refund of tuition will be paid minus a $500 administration fee if the student cancels his application prior to the start
of his/her program.
A 50% refund of tuition will be paid if the student withdraws prior to the end of the first month of his/her program.
No refund of tuition will be paid if the student completes the first month.
No refund of tuition will be paid if the student is dismissed from the ISE Program due to violation of the rules of the
International Student Education Program, as set out above.
No refund of tuition will be paid if the student is unsuccessful in two homestays due to serious problematic behaviour
on the part of the student and is therefore expelled from the Program.
The Tuition Deposit paid by a returning student against the tuition for the following school year is non-refundable.
A full refund of tuition will be paid minus a $500 administration fee if the student’s immigration status changes after the
Official Letter of Acceptance has been issued but prior to September 30 of the year for which the tuition has been paid.
No refund of tuition will be paid if the student’s immigration status changes after September 30 of the year for which the
tuition has been paid.
If a student withdraws or is dismissed from the ISE Program and does not complete his/her program, the balance of
the homestay fees will be refunded upon request.
The laws of the Province of British Columbia apply.
