Online Platform – Médio Tejo’s Events Agenda
1 – Introduction
The ‘Comunidade Intermunicipal do Médio Tejo’ (CIMT) presents the MT Events
Agenda “What’s up?”, an online platform that intends to offer a new view on the cultural
and sporting activities happening in the Médio Tejo region. Information on exhibitions,
theatre, music, films, dance, sports, books, events, among others, is now available in
one single and up-to-date website, where in a second phase it will also be possible to
find information on the region’s tourist attractions.
Born of a CIMT’s project, the MT Events Agenda is the result of a partnership with the
‘Instituto Politécnico de Tomar’. It aims to be the main source of information on cultural
and sporting events in the Médio Tejo territory. Organisations which promote events
are intended to be partners in the update of the MT Events Agenda.
The objective is to transform the MT Events Agenda into a chief information and
promotion channel of cultural and sporting events, not only in Médio Tejo, but also in
the country, so it becomes an added value for the enhancement of the initiatives
happening in the region.
The platform will consistently offer a more efficient service, as the number of cultural
and sporting agents providing information on their activities increases. Therefore, they
will also contribute to the promotion and communication of the Médio Tejo’s events
calendar.
2 – Access: to be a partner
Founding partners: Comunidade Intermunicipal do Médio Tejo (CIMT); municipal
councils of the Médio Tejo region; IPT – Instituto Politécnico de Tomar; ADIRN –
Associação para o Desenvolvimento Integrado do Ribatejo Norte; TAGUS –
Associação para o Desenvolvimento Integrado do Ribatejo Interior; PINHAL MAIOR –
Associação de Desenvolvimento do Pinhal Interior Sul; and NERSANT – Associação
Empresarial da Região de Santarém.
The production of information and the access to the platform, during the first stage, are
reserved to the Founding Partners, and only afterwards will those features be available
to other information producers.
Each partner will be entitled to a space for a highlight, which is one event considered to
be of greater relevance.

The platform is intended to be bilingual in the future, offering contents both in English
and Portuguese. The provision of information in other idioms may be considered during
the implementation and development of the platform.
3 – Registration of Information Producers
The MT Events Agenda is a collaborative project updated by the various organisers
and promoters of cultural and sporting events.
4 – Information Producers
Institutional agents, public or private, duly validated by the municipal councils and
confirmed by CIMT. The enrolment will have to be previously validated by the
municipality where the organisations’ head office is located. The founding partners, just
like the other agents, will have to register as information producers.
Organisations based outside the geographical area of Médio Tejo will be validated by
the municipal council where the proposed activity is to take place.
5 – Request for registration
The confirmation of the approval for “Information Producer” is performed by CIMT after
being validated by the municipal council.
The interested organisations have to propose their enrolment and fill in the registration
questionnaire online with the following data:

The enrolment is evaluated and confirmed after the filling in of all mandatory data on
the registration questionnaire. The content producer guarantees that all the information
provided is accurate and reliable, promising to keep the registration data up to date.

6 – Terms of Use
The Information Producer is responsible for all the contents (texts, images and others)
uploaded on the platform.
The MT Events Agenda is not responsible for any changes, postponements, or
cancelation of events advertised by the Information Producers, or any other wrong
information related with the events, which arise from unforeseen reasons and / or the
failure of the promotors to update the events’ information.
The Information Producer commits to guarantee that all the information is not likely to
negatively affect the legitimate interests of third parties.
CIMT reserves the right to remove all and any content uploaded by the Information
Producer at any time and for any reason without previous notice.
7 – Limitation of Liability
The information published on this platform comes from various sources and is
uploaded by the registered Information Producers, whereby CIMT cannot guarantee
the accuracy or the update of the data. Moreover, the available information on the
platform is solely for informative purposes and is not an advice or a recommendation of
any kind.
As a result, the use of the information and content available on the platform cannot in
any case lead to the liability of CIMT. The registered Information Producer is solely
responsible for the proper use of the information available on the platform.
8 – Hyperlinks
CIMT provides hyperlinks to third party websites.
As it has no control over external resources, CIMT does not assume any responsibility
regarding those resources and cannot be held liable for their content.
9 – Information Producer’s Obligations
In the context of the use of this platform, the Information Producer pledges to abide by
the law, as well as to respect third parties’ rights and the provisions of these Terms of
Use.

Not make comments or disclose any information and content which may
undermine others’ rights or that may be considered defamatory, abusive,
obscene, sexist, offensive, violent or which incites to violence, and any content
in general which is against the law.
Only publish, indicate or convey information and content in any form which is in
conformity with reality.
Not to gather or store personal information of other users.
Not ask for money in exchange for any service.
Comply with all obligations set on these Terms of Use. In case of noncompliance with these obligations, CIMT reserves the right to warn the
Information Producer or to cancel its registration, depending on the severity of
the infraction.
10 – Costs of Participation
The participation in the platform is free for registered Information Producers from
founding partners and non-profit associations. During the first 12 months the
participation is also free for other public and private organisations. After the first 12
months, the projects will be evaluated and it will be decided if the participation remains
free of charge or not.
11 – Advertising
According with market terms, CIMT’s Intermunicipal Council will approve the Table with
the prices for Online Ads. It will also be possible to exchange advertisements on the
platform for services (the situations that may arise on this regard will be evaluated case
by case).
12 – Evolution of these Terms of Use
CIMT reserves the right to change the Terms of Use at any moment without previous
notice.
Doubts and omissions regarding these Terms of Use will be decided by CIMT.
