The purpose is also that the student uses the Internet as a virtual and public space for presentation of his artwork; a public space outside the gallery-museum complex, thereby allowing artists access to a vast and undefined audience. The Internet as a tool to explore the construction and perception of identity, exploring free platforms such as blog or social networks to disseminate a profile and a portfolio. It is finally intended to prepare the student for the execution of a project site in a real context, passing through all the steps necessary for its conception, from planning to implementation, as well as fostering contact with the customer, so that the project meets the objectives and strategies set out initially. The objectives of the course unit also pass through the aggregation of the concepts of usability and accessibility in planning interfaces for web pages, ensuring that the end user accesses to information and interface by a intuitive way. The aim is to point out the importance of design in the planning of a site, reinforcing the importance of image and identity in its conception, so that the Internet is stated as a powerful marketing tool in business. CONTRIBUTION TO SPECIFIC SKILLS DEVELOPMENT Fundamental Training on methodologies of artistic project. Capabilities in the field of production of images and creative objects under the photographic, audiovisual, or virtual spaces, either the level of representation as of the artistic project. Fundamental notions of production and multimedia conception. Knowledge and general domain of the major tools and operating procedures of the audiovisual area. Dominion of use of digital technologies essential to the multimedia creation including installation, sound quality and post-production. Operating domain, including theoretical, of some of the technological subspecialties in the multimedia field such as web design, camera and lighting, sound design, etc. Knowledge and skills of analysis, synthesis and speculation concerning transversally of artistic and cultural phenomena. Complementary Training at the level of general theory of image and of common issues in differentiating the various fields of Visual Culture. Training and developing of skills on graphical representation; Knowledge and general domain of the main tools and operating and laboratory procedures of photography. Competency at the level of image theory and media, of composition and vocabularies. Basic knowledge of the main tools in the techniques of writing and digital design.
