SUMMARY
In this course unit is intended that the student grasps the concepts of evolution of the Internet and the online domain, including
the activism of Net Art in the 90s and the Social Web today's. The purpose is also that the student uses the Internet as a virtual
and public space for presentation of his artwork; a public space outside the gallery-museum complex, thereby allowing artists
access to a vast and undefined audience. The Internet as a tool to explore the construction and perception of identity, exploring
free platforms such as blog or social networks to disseminate a profile and a portfolio. It is finally intended to prepare the student
for the execution of a project site in a real context, passing through all the steps necessary for its conception, from planning to
implementation, as well as fostering contact with the customer, so that the project meets the objectives and strategies set out
initially. The objectives of the course unit also pass through the aggregation of the concepts of usability and accessibility in
planning interfaces for web pages, ensuring that the end user accesses to information and interface by a intuitive way. The aim is
to point out the importance of design in the planning of a site, reinforcing the importance of image and identity in its conception,
so that the Internet is stated as a powerful marketing tool in business.
