O presente estudo tem como objectivo
averiguar o trajecto evolutivo no contexto
de
formação
em
enfermagem,
especificamente no que diz respeito ao
desenvolvimento
de
competências
relacionais, vitais para uma boa
intervenção a nível psicossocial no
desempenho da profissão.
Para tal, ao longo da licenciatura, os
mesmos sujeitos (da mesma turma) irão
responder no final de cada ensino clínico
ao Inventário de Relações de BarrettLennard, referindo-se à sua percepção
acerca
das
relações
terapêuticas
estabelecidas.
Responderão
ao
questionário tendo em conta (1) a melhor
relação que estabeleceram com um utente
no ensino clínico; (2) a relação mais
difícil com um utente no ensino clínico;
(3) a relação pessoal mais próxima e
significativa que têm na sua vida pessoal.
A hipótese de trabalho é a de que à
medida que vão avançando na formação,
os estudantes percepcionam-se como mais
capazes de estabelecer relações de maior
qualidade (mais congruentes, empáticas e
aceitantes) com as pessoas a quem
prestam cuidados

The main goal of this research is to
understand the evolutional process in
interpersonal development that takes
places throughout the nursing bachelor.
For that, we analyze the attitude
structure’s evolution (as it is formulated
by the client centered approach),
throughout the learning process and the
way in which it manifest’s in the
relationships estabilished with the patients
in the diferent practical posts. Nursing
students will answer the Inventory
considering: (1) the best relationship
established in the practical post; (2) the
most difficult relationship established in
the practical post; (3) the most important
relationship they have in their personal
life.
Subjects are all the students from one
class, from the 1st to the 4th year.
Barrett-Lennard's Relationship Inventory
is used to assess the subjects’ perceptions
and feelings about the relationship with
the patients.
The working hypothesis is that throughout
their bachelor, the students will perceive
themselves more able to establish a close
empathic, congruent and acceptant
relationship with their patients in the
practical posts.
