1ª Etapa: Início de Conversa.
Esta é uma das canções mais conhecidas do U2 e fala sobre buscas na vida. Existe uma conotação
religiosa, que pode ser abordada em classe também. Além de bela, esta música apresenta muitos
verbos no Presente Perfeito. É uma ótima atividade para introduzir este tempo verbal para a turma de
forma agradável.
Prepare com antecedência cópias da canção, das atividades propostas e do arquivo do videoclipe
para utilizar nas suas aulas. Eles estão disponíveis no “Para organizar o seu trabalho” e “Material de
Apoio”
2ª Etapa: A biografia.
Sugira aos alunos que façam, como tarefa de casa, uma pesquisa sobre a biografia do grupo U2 e
registrem pelo menos 4 fatos que considerem relevantes para o longo sucesso da banda. No início
da aula faça um brainstorm e registre no quadro, se preferir. É interessante que os alunos também
façam algum registro da atividade.

3ª Etapa: O vocabulário: Listening.
Proponha que os alunos façam em duplas a atividade 1 enquanto escutam a música. Toque a
música mais vezes se necessário. Faça a correção coletiva. Comente as novas palavras do

4ª Etapa: O Presente Perfeito.
Peça que os alunos façam a atividade 2. Corrija coletivamente e comente a escolha pelo uso do

5ª Etapa: Interpretação.

respostas devidamente justificadas pelos alunos.

Proponha que os alunos respondam as questões 4 e 5 utilizando corretamente o presente perfeito
