O Alto Comissariado para a Imigração e Diálogo Intercultural (ACIDI, IP) tem o prazer de convidar
para o Fórum Internacional Integração de Imigrantes, promovido no âmbito das celebrações do
Dia Internacional do Migrante, que terá lugar na Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, nos dias 16 e 17 de
Dezembro de 2010.
O Fórum visa promover o debate e a reflexão em torno da integração dos imigrantes, mobilizando o
diálogo entre investigadores, decisores políticos, representantes de organizações da sociedade civil,
entre outros, contando, ainda com a presença de especialistas internacionais desta área.
Integra quatro sessões plenárias – a monitorização internacional das políticas de integração de
imigrantes; a promoção do diálogo intercultural; os desafios para o poder local da integração dos
imigrantes e a reciprocidade e a participação política dos imigrantes – nas quais participação
especialistas nacionais e internacionais como o Coordenador da Rede de Excelência IMISCOE e altos
representantes da ONU, OCDE, OIM Internacional, Migration Policy Group, ERICarts entre outras
instituições de referência nesta área.
Serão ainda lançadas e discutidas 5 novas publicações do Observatório da Imigração sobre os
seguintes temas: imigrantes idosos, imigração e sinistralidade laboral, imigração e saúde, imigração
e género e imigração e justiça penal.
O Fórum encerrará com a entrega dos Prémios da Plataforma Imigração.

The High Commission for Immigration and Intercultural Dialogue (ACIDI IP) has the pleasure to
invite you to the International Forum on “Immigrants Integration”, organized within the celebrations
of International Migrants Day, on 16th and 17th December 2010.
The Forum aims to promote the debate and the reflexion around the integration of immigrants,
involving dialogue between researchers, policymakers, representatives of civil society organizations,
among other stakeholders, as well as international experts in this area.
It Includes four plenary sessions – the international monitoring on immigrant integration policies,
how to promote the intercultural dialogue, the challenges of immigrants integration for the local
authorities and the issue of reciprocity on immigrants political participation – with the presence
of national and international experts as the Coordinator of IMISCOE Research Network and senior
representatives of the UN, OECD, IOM International, Migration Policy Group among other reference
institutions in this area.
Within the Forum, there will also be launched five new publications of the Immigration Observatory
on the following thematic: elderly immigrants, immigrants and workplace accidents, immigration
and health, immigration and gender and immigration and criminal justice.
The Forum will end with the Immigration Platform Awards Delivery.
