Language requirements
Students are supposed to choose the courses (subjects) clicking on
the names of the colleges (E.g. “Administração”). When more than
one year (E.g. “2009”; “2011”) is shown, students must choose the
most recent one.
Proficiency in Portuguese.
Housing options
(The subject “Português para Estrangeiros” - Portuguese for
Foreigners - is recommended mainly for beginners).
UFJF does not provide housing.
Students must contact directly the house owner in order to
organize their coming and to get further information
about the place and its price.
However, contact SRI by e-mail ([email protected]) in order
to know if there are any people offering housing to foreign
students.
You also can ask SRI any information about the place where you
intend to stay in Juiz de Fora.

more than 30 days.
There is a PF’s Office near UFJF (2,5 km or 6 minutes by car – it is
located in “Shopping Independência”).
