A homage to Antonio Carlos Jobim (1927 – 1994), a composer from Rio de
Janeiro, the project focuses on the symphonic elements and the environmental
themes in his work, particularly one of his main sources of inspiration: nature.
Based on this, when Marcelo Bratke and Camerata Brasil play
play a repertoire of
memorable Tom Jobim songs, such as Modinha, Saudades do Brasil, Choro,
As Praias Desertas, Estrada Branca, Sabiá, Wave, Luiza and Samba de Avião,
the film/scenery produced by Mariannita Luzzati will be projected on a screen at
the back off the stage, with moving images focusing on Brazilian nature.
