Breakdown and towing service
Breakdown service : Provided daily by ACP patrolmen in urban areas of Braga, Porto, Aveiro,
Coimbra, Leiria, Santarém, Lisbon, Setúbal, Grándola and Algarve (Faro and Portimáo) at the
following hours :
in Zone “A” (southern part of the country, below Pombal) :
Lisbon : everyday from 8.00 am to 11.30 pm,
Grándola : from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm,
Setúbal and Santarém : from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm,
Faro and Portimáo : from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.
in Zone”B” (northern part of the country, above Pombal) :
Porto : everyday, from 8.00 am to 11.30 pm;
Coimbra : everyday, from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm;
Braga and Aveiro : days and time variable : 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

For ETI Booklet holders whose clubs are signatories of the SNAKE agreement, this service is
free of charge. For ETI Booklet holders from clubs which are not signatories of the agreement,
EURO 44.36 per case + cost of spare parts is charged, payable by Letter of Credit.
Towing Service : Provided by road patrol vehicle 24 hours a day in the whole country (for tel.
number see above). This service can be paid by Letter of Credit. The contract garages offer the
same service.

Help, advice and information
Touring services : Information free of charge from club headquarters and regional offices. Free
hotel recommendations given at ACP travel agency.
Tourist publications and maps : Sold at headquarters and regional offices at the same price as
for members.
Road information : Provided free of charge at ACP headquarters and Oporto on itineraries,
tolls, price of fuel abroad, ferries, congested areas. Urgent messages sent in serious cases.
Legal service : Lawyers’ counseling and opinions on traffic and vehicle-related problems free
of charge at club headquarters. List of lawyers available.
Travel and leisure activities
Travel agency : Service available.
Camping : Recommendations and pamphlets for Portuguese sites and sites abroad. Reservations
at Portuguese sites with ACP contracts only. Sale of national guides. All club members are
granted same discounts as ACP members as long as the reservations are handled by ACP.
