PRACTICE OF RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS, READING AND DRAMATIC LITERATURE: EXTENSION AND SOCIAL INCLUSION ANTÔNIA RODRIGUES DA SILVA , PAULO HENRIQUE REIS DE MELO, ROMANA DE FÁTIMA MACEDO INSTITUTO FEDERAL SERTÃO PERNAMBUCANO – CAMPUS PETROLINAPE [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] ABSTRACT Introduction: This present abstract is related to an extension project that has been developed for two years at IF Sertão Pernambucano-Petrolina, with children from the local community. Objectives: Encourage rhythmic gymnastics practice and expand reading competence. Methodology: Using of ludic practices, given two groups of children, six hours in a week, with rhythmic gymnastics, story telling and dramatization. Results: Flexibility development, posture, apparatus an oral expression domain, besides the possibility of vocabulary improvement, contact with textual diversity and criticism. Conclusion: These practices favored physical and intellectual development, emphasizing factors such as confidence, self esteem consolidation and better quality of life.
