SOCIAL PROGRAMME
The official dinner for the 2014 ESUR Fall Meeting will take place at BBC - Belém Bar Café on the 19th of
September 2014, from 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Welcome drinks will be served from 8:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 9:00 p.m.
BBC - Belém Bar Café offers good music and an excellent atmosphere. It’s located in Belém one of the hot-spots
of Lisbon’s nightlife. With an exceptional view of the River Tagus, the BBC is a mixture of restaurant and bar and
is considered one of the top 10 dance clubs in Lisbon.
Belém is not only home to the BBC but many of the nation’s distinctive buildings and landmarks are located in
this area. There are hundreds of years of Portuguese history lying along the busy waterfront, and you will find
palaces and other monuments sandwiched between modern shops and museums all along this beautiful
Lisbon`s suburb. The modern age has been intricately interwoven, making the Belém riverfront a must visit.
It’s in the very heart of this monumental and historical area that you will find the BBC:

Transportation
A free transfer to the BBC - Belém Bar Café will be provided which will leave the Hospital da Luz at 7:30 p.m.
and pass through the Marriot Hotel and the Azores Hotel respectively. The transfer back is at 12:30 a.m.
Registration for the official dinner
Your cost of the dinner is already included in the registration fee, however should you wish to bring a partner,
the dinner price is 50€ per person. Please note that this cost needs to be paid beforehand at the accreditation
in the secretariat at Hospital da Luz. Sites are limited, so kindly confirm your dinner registration.

Secretariat desk
The secretariat desk is on the groundfloor of the Hospital, near the auditorium entrance. The check in will be
opened as from 8:00 a.m.
Badges
The badges must be worn at the secretariat desk. It is mandatory for all participants to wear their badges visibly
throughout the meeting, as it is the entrance ticket to all sessions and for the lunches.
Certificate of participation
After filling and submitting a brief evaluation questionnaire sent by email, your certificate of participation shall
be forwarded to your e-mail address.

English.
Book of Abstracts
In keeping with the protection of our environment, the book of Abstracts will be offer to you in the USB pen,
which would be found inside your bag.
Posters exhibition
The electronic posters can be seen on the computers at the auditorium lobby.
Wi-Fi
Your password for the auditorium Wi-Fi will be available at the secretariat desk.
Meals
There will be four coffee breaks, at the auditorium lobby and two lunches will be served at sala multiusos das
Casas da Cidade, located at the building next to the Hospital.
Public transport
If you will be using the subway, you should exit at Colégio Militar/Luz Station. Should you traveling by bus,
please get on, either bus number 729, 765 or 799 which will take you to approximately 150 m from Hospital
da Luz. You can also take a taxi (it is reasonably priced when compared to other european cities).
