[email protected] Abstract The economic growth of Brazil, observed in recent years has brought benefits in terms of people's lives. However, all growth requires planning for it to occur adding as many possible advantages to this process. Vehicle sales in Brazil have grown every year raising concerns about the infrastructure available to support it. This article, exploratory, says such growth with main focus on the metropolitan region of Sao Paulo warning of the increased emission of pollutants into the atmosphere.
