Uberlândia has more than 2.600 pubs and restaurants. Unfortunately we cannot proof many of
the options that Google Maps shows, here we list some of the options rated in Tripadvisor or
which have a website/facebook page. There are many restaurants and bars along Rondon
Pacheco av. (but after Center Shopping, going south). There you can find “student's menus” like
burgers and skewers (espetinhos), as well as steakhouses and “barzinhos” with appetizers and
soups (caldos).
If you have a short budget, avoid eating at the shopping center, which has pricey meals, and let
yourself discover one of the pubs/snack/skewers bars around the campus.

Parque do Sabiá - 8-10min by car.
Nice park offering a pleasant view of the lake, quiosques with fresh coconut water, a small zoo
and a fish pond, and 5km of running trail (be aware, it will take you 1h to walk all along the
perimeter). One suggestion is heading straight to the bridge. Also, there is a nice shortcut with a
small bridge between the trees, where you can feel a bit of forest.

Although Uberlândia has a recent decreasing criminality index, there are thefts of bicycles and
occasional robbery. As usual, one should avoid walking alone along isolated streets at night.
